Included in the rental are linens, towels and firewood for the wood-burning stove in the living room. The Chalet has electric heating with individual temperature controls in each room. The master bedroom has an ensuite half bath and sitting room with couch/bed suitable for a child. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have two twin beds in each. The bathroom on the main level has a tub/shower. Telephone Service for voice/computer communication is made available for a fee of $ 50.00. Cell phone communications from the Chalet and ski areas work fine.

Activities and Attractions

Solitude and Brighton ski areas are located within three to five minutes drive from the Chalet. Alta and Snowbird are but a short 45 minutes down the Canyon and back up Little Cottonwood Canyon, add Park City, Deer valley and the Canyons Resorts and you are surroundet by seven World Class ski areas averaging annually between 300 and 500 inches of Utah's famed fluffy powder snow. Our Chalet is at an 8000 foot elevation with a panoramic view of the surrounding Wasatch mountains and borders on National Forest with Back Country skiing and Snow Shoeing access to thousands of unspoiled acres. During the summer and fall, the Wasatch mountains around the Chalet is a hikers/mountain bikers dream with wildflowers and wild game in abundance. Five minutes walk to the Silverfork Lodge/ Restaurant serving the best food and atmosphere in the Solitude and Brighton Ski areas .
