This two bedroom one bath home is the perfect family get-away choice. It is located steps from a beautiful sandy beach, blocks from the Ventura yacht harbor's restaurants and entertainment, and within walking distance of the quaint California mission town center with its fishing pier, historical museum, and many antique stores and excellent restaurants.
Located just an hour north of Los Angeles on California's beautiful coastline, Ventura is a vacationer's paradise. You'll find miles of beautiful beaches, a thriving harbor filled with recreational and commercial boats, the feel of Old California in our historic downtown and Mission districts, and the wonderful sunny skies of Southern California!
The master bedroom is furnished with 19th century antique furniture. A second bedroom has twin (trundle) beds and additional sleeping for two is available on the sofa bed. The cottage is large enough for quiet time and there is an open living area for family activities.
Parking is available for three cars. Buses serving Ventura County stop at the corner. Use the fireplace for snuggling. On-site bikes are available to explore the wonderful scenic rural bike paths. Romantic, restful, recreational, with spectacular sunsets completing this must do California coastal experience.

Rental Rate Notes
10% city lodging tax added to all rentals 30 days or less. 7 day miinimu stay during summer months. Monthly rates available during off season.Rental Policies
Seven night minimum stay during high season. Summer week begins and ends on Saturdays. Shorter stays available off season. 3:00 p.m. or later check-in and 10:00 a.m. check out. Late arrivals can be accommodated with prior notification. A 50% deposit and a separate refundable security check for $250 are required upon confirmation of reservation. Balance is due 14 days before reservation date. There will be a 50% cancellation fee if a cancellation is made within 14 days of check-in date. LONGER TERM MONTHY RATES ARE NEGOTIABLE - please contact owner. Sheets and towels are provided for no additional cost.
To reserve the cottage, please send a 50% deposit refundable up to fourteen days before the occupancy date. Please indicate by email when the check has been sent. Remaining balance must be received not less than fourteen days before the first rental date. In addition, a separate $250 refundable damage deposit check must be sent with the final balance.
The separate damage deposit check will be returned via mail upon successful check out.
