Aloha & thank you for your interest in our oceanfront vacation suite, the Lanikeha "Legendary Part of Heaven". The Lanikeha is located in Hale Koolau, a family owned & operated group of ocean & beach front vacation rental homes in Honolulu, Hawaii located in the fishing town of Hauula on Oahu's North Shore near the Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay, Kualoa Ranch, and many other wonderful Oahu attractions. We are located approximately 45 minutes from Honolulu International Airport on the North East coast of Oahu; where the Ko'olau Mountains touch the Pacific Ocean. Our community of single family homes, small shops, and quaint restaurants is very different from the high rise retail/ tourist center of Waikiki. With hiking trails and unspoiled reefs, we offer a glimpse of the Oahu of yesteryear with convenient access to the night life and modern pleasures of Honolulu & Waikiki.
The Lanikeha "Legendary Part of Heaven" is a direct oceanfront vacation rental on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii and offers impressive views from one end of Hauula bay to the other with the beautiful Koolau Mountains beyond. This rental is a spacious (1,000+ sf living area) one bedroom, one bath duplex home with porcelain tile & marble floors throughout. The Lanikeha features a complete and open kitchen with a granite top bar, stove/range, microwave, fridge, and all the cooking utensils you need to prepare complete meals. The adjacent dining area has a table & seating for four. The living area, with the feel of a tropical atrium, is richly decorated with warm tropical & plantation style furniture and enjoys breath-taking ocean views. There is a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room which allows this vacation rental to accommodate up to 4 guests, in addition to a separate conversation area with seating for four. The bedroom area is furnished with elegant and tropical teak furniture and a new Sealy pillow-top queen size mahogany sleigh bed. The bath features marble floors, double washbasins, a bathtub/shower combination, and a unique moss rock wall enclosure. The bedroom area, in addition to having ultra quiet mini-split air conditioning, has a tropical ceiling fan although it is rarely needed as this suite enjoys cool ocean breezes year around.
Hale Koolau is a member of the Hawaii Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating and rated "excellent" on Trip Advisor.

Our properties are directly on the ocean/beach with amazing views. Enjoy using our custom-made stone BBQ pits (some with ocean views) and picnicking on our beach. At the end of a busy day out come back and relax in one of our 4 hot tubs located throughout our property, or get up early and enjoy watching the sunrise over Hauula Bay.

Enjoy relaxing on our expansive Oceanside yards. Hale Ko’olau has over 400 linear feet of beach/oceanfront. There is plenty of area for sunbathing on the beach or on the grassy yard. Watch spectacular sunrises while soaking in one of our nearby hot tubs. Stroll down the beach to the Hauula beach park and coral preserve for some great snorkeling and swimming or take our ocean kayaks out for some adventure. Close by are world famous North Shore attractions such as the Hauula hiking trails & preserve, Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay Resort & Golf, Brigham Young University, Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, Kualoa Ranch and the last unspoiled "Hawaiian" style towns on Oahu. Rental Rate Notes
Our rates are based upon the number of nights you stay, with 3 nights minimum. For reservations of 3 nights or more $199.99/night, for 5 nights or more $174.99/night, for 7 nights or more $149.99/night. We charge a flat rate of $1,540.00 for reservations covering Christmas or New Year's Holiday. This rate covers up to 7 nights. Additional nights are billed at the normal nightly rate. Christmas reservations must vacate by December 29 and New Years reservations cannot arrive earlier than December 29. Reservations which include both Christmas and New Years are billed a flat rate of $3,080.00 and cover up to 14 nights. Additional nights are billed at the normal rate. Other Details: All rates quoted are based upon two (2) person occupancy and are charged based upon the number of nights you stay. Absolute minimum requirement for booking a reservation is three (3) nights. Minimum requirement for Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving, Easter and BYU Graduation (Spring) is 7 nights. Minimum requirement for Memorial Day, Labor Day and Fourth of July is 5 nights. Add $15.99 daily charge for each additional guest over two (2) person occupancy up to a maximum of four (4) people, including children over 1 year of age. One (1) parking stall is provided per vacation rental Extra parking may be ordered through our secure online reservations system. Add a one-time, non-refundable, $80.00 cleaning fee to all reservations. Until confirmed, rates and fees are subject to change without notice. Any changes to the reservation after the agreement is accepted and the deposit is paid will be subject to a one-time $100 administrative processing charge. If you cancel after final payment has been made, or after arrival at the property, you agree to forfeit all rents prepaid except for any amount we are able to recover through re-renting the property. We reserve the right to re-rent the property for less than the amount you agreed to pay and will refund only the amount we are able to recover. No exceptions to this policy will be made for any reason.
