Lake George Vacation Rental WPrivate Beach Dock

Welcome to our homey, 3 bedroom summer house with a large living room, eat-in-kitchen and a bathroom just steps away from a private beach (with dock!) on beautiful Lake George. Step out the front door onto a 10 x 27 foot deck with a gas BBQ and Patio set to accommodate 6 people and take in the view!

Interior Details:

This house is fully furnished. The living room has 3 oversized couches/chairs, a TV and lighting. In the kitchen you will find a a table with settings for 6 and all of the kitchen essentials to cook at home or re-heat the previous day's "doggie bag". One bedroom has a queen sized bed, one has a full sized bed and the middle bedroom has a pair of twin beds (there is a roll away bed in one of the bedrooms as well). While each bed does have a bedspread, PLEASE NOTE that you do need to provide your own sheets/pillows/pillow cases. The bathroom is a standard shower/tub set up (please bring your own towels) and we have some extra toiletries stashed away incase you forgot any of your own. The air conditioning unit does an excellent job of cooling the house during the day, if necessary, and the mountain air will usually take care of it at night. There is cell phone/WiFi access throughout the house.

Exterior Details:

This property is located in Still Bay where the water is generally very calm and warm. There is a clean and safe swimming area for children- first thing in the morning the water is so still and clear that you can watch the minnows and sunfish chase bugs and nibble at plants. The beach is large and sandy. When looking out at the lake from the beach you see Diamond Island, which is the first Island boaters see when traveling north up the lake from Lake George Village. Each home owner also has their own personal boat slip should you have your own boat or jet ski. My slip will hold a boat up to 20ft. There are other slips available but that depends on availability.

Our house faces the the lake from the east allowing for beautiful sunrises; full moons provide for a beautiful evening as the moon reflects off the water onto the beach.

Local Detials:

There are pleanty of family activities right in Lake George Villiage including Boat tours, Fort William Henry, arcades and restaurants.

Weekly rentals (Saturday to Saturday) are available during the summer season. If a date is not booked 30 days earlier, then shorter stays can be requested. (See Rate Schedule) Check rate schedule for new off season rates.

Directions: NYS Thruway to exit 24 (Albany) to Rt 87 North. Go to exit 22 Diamond Point. Keep to left and follow the ramp all the way to the end (Route 9N or Lake Shore Drive). Turn left and travel 2.2 miles looking for Still Bay Motel Resort. Still Bay Road is a blind entrance so slow down and signal at Still Bay Motel. Our Driveway is 2.3 miles from the point you enter Lake Shore Drive on the right hand side.

After Still Bay Motel, another point of reference is that there is a rock wall that runs from the Motel entrance to Still Bay Road. Watch the wall and turn into Still Bay Road when the wall ends. Follow the road to our house which is #23. It is the fifth house on the left side going down the hill.

Lake George is a 26 Mile lake located about one hour north of Albany, NY on Route 87. This property is one of 15 private homes which make up Still Bay Condo. The property is located between Still Bay Motel and Depe Dene Resort approximately 3 miles north of Lake George Village and 7 miles south of Bolton Landing along the west shore.

Near by (within 20 minutes) you will find several golf courses, Great Escape, a Six Flags Amusement Park, water parks, hiking trails, horse back riding (across the street) Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Horse Racing and much more.

Lake George Activities, Americade, Car Show, Balloon Festival, Saratoga Springs, Concerts and Saratoga Race Track. Other Cities Glens Falls, Warrensburgh, Bolton Landing, Saratoga Springs, Colony, Fort Edward.

Rental Policies

Renters are responsible for bringing their own sheets and towels. (Two twin beds plus one twin cot, One full size bed and one Queen size bed). Tableware, cookware and other kitchen items are provided as well as mops, brooms etc. Condo by-laws limit the number of adults and people who can share a rental. Please inquire if this applies to your rental needs. Max allowed is 6 persons The homes, dock, beach and other condo property are well maintained and carefully monitored by the association. Renter will be responsible for any damage to the house or condo property. Reckless behavior will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of all money paid. Renters are responsible for leaving the house clean and ready for the next renter.

A deposit of one half (50%) of the rental rate is required when a reservation is made. The Rental Balance and the Cleaning/Security Deposit ($200) is due 30 days before arrival. Ask about Discounts for longer rentals (over two weeks) and repeat guests who take good care of the property.

The Deposit is not refundable unless the reservation is taken by another party. A 15% fee will be charged and deducted from the Deposit Refund. The $200 refundable cleaning deposit will be returned in full if the property is not damaged, home items are not missing, the house is clean and ready for the next rental as outlined in the rental agreement and vacated by check-out time. Check-in time is 3:00 P.M. of the first day rented. Check-out time is 11:00 A.M. of the last day.
