Description of the Property

We are the Exclusive representatives of several 2 bdrm penthouse condos in Fisherman's village Resort and Spa and also some 3 bdrm units and one 1 bdrm unit. We also represent ONE super luxury 4 bdrm/4 bth penthouse perfect for families or 4 couples.

Fisherman's Village is a luxurious beachfront condominium complex with just 50 units in the quiet coastal community of Playacar just a 10 minute walk to Playa del Carmen. Fisherman's Village is known to be the nicest quality resort/condo complex in the entire Yucatan Pennisula for it's elegance, fine service, and resort-like amenities such as a full service restaurant, room service, swim-up pool bar, full sized pool and a children's pool, water sports, jacuzzis for the complex, air conditioned gym, Spa services such as massage,facials,pedicures and manicures too.

Each unit has travertine flooring, slab marble countertops, central air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout. Don't just take my word for it, read my past guest reviews below!

All four units we represent are deluxe oceanfront units that have two bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths and range in size from 1200-1500 sq. feet. The one bedroom unit is about 800 sq feet. These are NOT to be confused with the tiny units offered on Expedia that are timeshare units that are about 500-600 sq feet in size with a kitchenette!

My unit in Fisherman's Village is furnished with hand-carved Mexican furniture, paintings from local artisans and soft 300 thread count cotton linens. The other two are furnished slightly differently, but all with excellent taste in decor.

The entire upper floor of my condo and two other condos I represent is the Master Suite with huge picture windows out to the Sea. The bottom level features 2nd bedroom, bath, kitchen, living, half bath and dining areas and a large balcony overlooking the pool, beach and ocean. At night you can stand on any of the units balconies and see the twinkling lights of Cozumel across the Caribbean.

The 4th 2-bedroom condo is all on one level on the 2nd floor of the complex. This property can actually sleep up to 8 people, since the 2nd bedroom has two double beds and the living room has a pullout couch.

One NEW feature of Fisherman's Village is an optional Meal Plan. This is your option which can be decided after you arrive at the complex and used one one day, but not the next if you choose. For $46/per person per day this includes TWO meals: Breakfast and either lunch or dinner at Fisherman's restaurant. Plus unlimited alcoholic drinks (non-Call) during the day into the evening! I recommend eating dinners in Playa del Carmen's fine restaurants since Fisherman's Village isn't known for their great dinners. The price for children is less. You also get free use of water sports and bicycles under this meal plan.

Playa Del Carmen is located just 35-40 minutes South of Cancun and offers the same powerdery white sand and turquoise waters, great restaurants and shopping- without crowds of wild Spring Break partiers and towering hotels. In fact, Playa has a building height restriction to a maximum of 3 stories!

Fisherman's Village is just a 10 minute walk along quiet cobblestone roads or the beach to the town of Playa del Carmen. Also within a short walk is the 18 hole golf course, tennis courts, the local aviary, and the ferry that takes you over to Cozumel. Most guests do not rent a car during their stay except days they wish to explore other areas of the Yucatan. If you plan on lounging on the beach, shopping and eating out in Playa del Carmen, maybe taking the ferry to Cozumel one day- you may not want a car the entire time. We can recommend reliable airport transportation to and from Cancun International to Fisherman's Village.

Rental Rate Notes

The Mexico VAT tax of 12% is added to reservations below. On a few select units, we offer a 5% cash discount if paying in full by check or money order at the time of booking. This discount cannot be used with any other discounts. Please ask the agent if this discount can apply to your specific booking.

Rental Policies

50% deposit required to reverve. The balance including 12% Mexican Tax is due 60 days prior to arrival. Maid service is available 7 days a week for $20-$25 additional per day. For a 7 nt stay, we require a minimum of 3 cleanings to be done (one of which is the day you checkout)

50% deposit required if booking 6 months prior to arrival. 30% deposit required if booking more than 6 months in advance, but the remaining 20% deposit is due 6 months before arrival. Balance is due 45 days prior to guest's arrival.

If you cancel your reservation more than 60 days in advance or we are able to rebook your dates, you will receive a full refund minus 20% of your total reservation. If you cancel within 60 days and we are unable to rebook your condo, all deposits will be non-refundable. We recommend that you purchase travel insurance through for Acts of God which may cause an interruption or a last minute cancellation of your trip.
