Aloha & thank you for your interest in our oceanfront vacation rental home, Hale Ali'i "House of the Chief". Hale Ali'i is an air conditioned vacation home located in Hale Koolau, a family owned & operated group of ocean & beach front vacation rental homes in Honolulu, Hawaii located in the fishing town of Hauula on Oahu's North Shore near the Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay, Kualoa Ranch, and many other wonderful Oahu attractions. We are located approximately 45 minutes from Honolulu International Airport on the North East coast of Oahu; where the Ko'olau Mountains touch the Pacific Ocean. Our community of single family homes, small shops, and quaint restaurants is very different from the high rise retail/ tourist center of Waikiki. With hiking trails and unspoiled reefs, we offer a glimpse of the Oahu of yesteryear with convenient access to the night life and modern pleasures of Honolulu & Waikiki.
The Hale Ali'i offers impressive views from one end of Hauula bay to the other with the beautiful Koolau Mountains beyond. This is a spacious (1,500+ sf living area) two bedroom, two bath home with porcelain tile & marble floors throughout. The Hale Ali'i features a complete, large and open modern kitchen with porcelain tile countertops, sealed top stove/range, microwave hood, side by side fridge, dishwasher, and all the cooking utensils you need to prepare complete meals. The living area is richly decorated with warm tropical & plantation style furniture and enjoys breath-taking ocean views. There is a queen size a queen size futon in the "bonus" Soji (Japanese style) room in addition to a separate dining room with seating for six. The master suite is furnished with elegant and tropical teak furniture and a queen size mahogany sleigh bed with pillow top mattress. The master bath features black marble floors and a unique moss rock wall shower. The second bedroom also has a queen size bed with pillow top mattress and heavy teak and tropical furniture for an elegant feel. Both bedrooms have tropical ceiling fans & air conditioning although they are rarely needed as this home enjoys cool tropical breezes year around.
Enjoy relaxing on the direct ocean front decks which open up to the blue South Pacific ocean only 20 feet away. Your private deck area has an outdoor dining table with seating for six. There is plenty of area for sunbathing on the beach or on the grassy yard. Watch spectacular sunrises while soaking in a six man sunk-in hot tub (in adjacent oceanfront deck). Stroll down the beach to the Hauula beach park and coral preserve for some great snorkeling and swimming or take our ocean kayaks out for some adventure. Close by are world famous North Shore attractions such as the Hauula hiking trails & preserve, Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay Resort & Golf, Brigham Young University, Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, Kualoa Ranch and the last unspoiled "Hawaiian" style towns on Oahu. Rental Rate Notes
12.962% Transient Accomodations Tax is added on to nightly rental rate. A one-time cleaning fee of $104.50 is also added for cleaning of the unit. Exceptions can be made to the minimum of 5 nights. All rates quoted are based upon four (4) person occupancy. Add $15.00 daily charge for each additional guest over four (4) person occupancy up to a maximum of six (6) people, including children over 1 year of age. One (1) parking stall is provided per vacation home. Extra parking is available for a one-time $20 per vehicle fee.Rental Policies
