Aloha & thank you for your interest our oceanfront vacation rental, the Ehu Kai "Sea Spray". The Ehu Kai suite is located in Hale Koolau, a family owned & operated group of ocean & beach front vacation rental homes in Honolulu, Hawaii located in the fishing town of Hauula on Oahu's North Shore near the Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay, Kualoa Ranch, and many other wonderful Oahu attractions. We are located approximately 45 minutes from Honolulu International Airport on the North East coast of Oahu; where the Ko'olau Mountains touch the Pacific Ocean. Our community of single family homes, small shops, and quaint restaurants is very different from the high rise retail/ tourist center of Waikiki. With hiking trails and unspoiled reefs, we offer a glimpse of the Oahu of yesteryear with convenient access to the night life and modern pleasures of Honolulu & Waikiki.
The Ehu Kai "Seaspray" is a direct beach & oceanfront vacation rental studio with air conditioning. This is a spacious (500+ sf living area) duplex studio, one bath suite with ceramic tile floors throughout. The Ehu Kai kitchen & bath were both completely remodeled early November 2006. The open kitchen has maple cabinetry and granite countertops, a full size stove/range, built-in microwave, full size fridge, and all the cooking utensils you need to prepare complete meals. The kitchen opens to the living area with a convenient breakfast bar/nook. The living area is richly decorated with warm tropical & plantation style furniture and enjoys direct ocean views. There is a queen size futon and teak dining table in the living area, all illuminated by a large sky light. The Ehu Kai vacation rental has a queen size bed just 20 feet away from the gentle surf. This suite enjoys wonderful tropical breezes year around, however there is a tropical ceiling fan and ultra quite mini-split air conditioning for your added comfort.
Hale Koolau is a member of the Hawaii Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating and rated "excellent" on Trip Advisor.

Our properties are directly on the ocean/beach with amazing views. Enjoy using our custom-made stone BBQ pits (some with ocean views) and picnicking on our beach. At the end of a busy day out come back and relax in one of our 4 hot tubs located throughout our property, or get up early and enjoy watching the sunrise over Hauula Bay.

Activities and Attractions
Enjoy relaxing on our expansive Oceanside yards. Hale Ko’olau has over 400 linear feet of beach/oceanfront. There is plenty of area for sunbathing on the beach or on the grassy yard. Watch spectacular sunrises while soaking in one of our nearby hot tubs. Stroll down the beach to the Hauula beach park and coral preserve for some great snorkeling and swimming or take our ocean kayaks out for some adventure. Close by are world famous North Shore attractions such as the Hauula hiking trails & preserve, Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay Resort & Golf, Brigham Young University, Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, Kualoa Ranch and the last unspoiled "Hawaiian" style towns on Oahu. Rental Rate Notes
Our rates are based upon the number of nights stayed, with 3 nights minimum. For reservations of 3 nights or more $174.99/night, for 5 nights or more $149.99/night, for 7 nights or more $124.99/night. We charge a flat rate of $1,323.00 for reservations covering Christmas or New Year's Holiday. This rate covers up to 7 nights. Additional nights are billed at the normal nightly rate. Christmas reservations must vacate by December 29 and New Years reservations cannot arrive earlier than December 29. Reservations which include both Christmas and New Years are billed a flat rate of $2,786.00 and cover up to 14 nights. Additional nights are billed at the normal rate. Other Details: All rates quoted are based upon two (2) person occupancy and are charged based upon the number of nights you stay. Absolute minimum requirement for booking a reservation is three (3) nights. Minimum requirement for Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving, Easter and BYU Graduation (Spring) is 7 nights. Minimum requirement for Memorial Day, Labor Day and Fourth of July is 5 nights. Add $15.99 daily charge for each additional guest over two (2) person occupancy up to a maximum of four (4) people, including children over 1 year of age. One (1) parking stall is provided per vacation rental. Extra parking may be ordered through our secure online reservation system. Add a one-time, non-refundable, $80.00 cleaning fee to all reservations. Until confirmed, rates and fees are subject to change without notice. Any changes to the reservation after the agreement is accepted and the deposit is paid will be subject to a one-time $100 administrative processing charge. If you cancel after final payment has been made, or after arrival at the property, you agree to forfeit all rents prepaid except for any amount we are able to recover through re-renting the property. We reserve the right to re-rent the property for less than the amount you agreed to pay and will refund only the amount we are able to recover. No exceptions to this policy will be made for any reason.

TERMS & CONDITIONS of our November special discount vacation rentals: We reserve the right to discontinue this promotion at any time and until confirmed, the rates and terms of the promotion are subject to change. The discount will be applied only to NEW reservations taken after October 23, 2009. If you reserved one of the above vacation rentals prior to October 23, 2009 for the month of November the discount will NOT be applied retroactively, no exceptions. For resevations during the month of November, or beginning during the month of November we will discount your daily rate as calculated by our booking system, before taxes, 10% before we confrim and process your deposit. If you book a vacation rental beginning in November and it extends into the month of December the discount will apply to all days booked, including in the month of December.
