Description of the Property
Aloha & thank you for your interest our oceanfront vacation rental, the Ehu Kai "Sea Spray". The Ehu Kai suite is located in Hale Koolau, a family owned & operated group of ocean & beach front vacation rental homes in Honolulu, Hawaii located in the fishing town of Hauula on Oahu's North Shore near the Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay, Kualoa Ranch, and many other wonderful Oahu attractions. We are located approximately 45 minutes from Honolulu International Airport on the North East coast of Oahu; where the Ko'olau Mountains touch the Pacific Ocean. Our community of single family homes, small shops, and quaint restaurants is very different from the high rise retail/ tourist center of Waikiki. With hiking trails and unspoiled reefs, we offer a glimpse of the Oahu of yesteryear with convenient access to the night life and modern pleasures of Honolulu & Waikiki.
The Ehu Kai studio is directly on the ocean and "tucked away" in the middle of our oceanfront vacation homes. This is a spacious (550+ sf living area) studio, one bath suite with ceramic tile floors throughout. The Ehu Kai features a completely remodeled (2006) and open kitchen with full size stove/range, microwave, fridge, and all the cooking utensils you need to prepare complete meals. The kitchen opens to the living area with a convenient breakfast bar/nook. The living area is richly decorated with warm tropical & plantation style furniture and enjoys direct ocean views. There is a queen size futon and teak dining table in the living area, all illuminated by a large sky light. The Ehu Kai has a queen size bed just 20 feet away from the gentle surf. This suite enjoys wonderful tropical breezes year around, however there is an air conditioner and ceiling fan if necessary.
Enjoy relaxing on your direct ocean front deck which has sweeping views of the entire Hauula Bay & Ko'olau Mountains. Your private deck area has an outdoor dining table with seating for four. There is plenty of area for sunbathing on the beach or on the grassy yard. Relax and watch spectacular sunrises while soaking in a six man hot tub just steps away. Stroll down the beach to the Hauula beach park and coral preserve for some great snorkeling and swimming or take our ocean kayaks out for some adventure. Close by are world famous North Shore attractions such as the Hauula hiking trails & preserve, Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay Resort & Golf, Brigham Young University, Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, Kualoa Ranch and the last unspoiled "Hawaiian" style towns on Oahu. Rental Rate Notes
12.962% Transient Accomodations Tax is added on to nightly rental rate. A one-time cleaning fee of $83.60 is also added for cleaning of the unit. Exceptions can be made to the minimum of 5 nights. All rates quoted are based upon two (2) person occupancy. Add $15.00 daily charge for each additional guest over two (2) person occupancy up to a maximum of four (4) people, including children over 1 year of age. One (1) parking stall is provided per vacation home. Extra parking is available for a one-time $20 per vehicle fee.Rental Policies

We require a non-refundable 25% deposit to hold reservations with the balance due 30 days prior to arrival.
Payments towards reservations are non-refundable unless due to unforeseen circumstances we are unable to provide the rental, in which case a full refund will be issued.
