Description of the Property

Casa Mar Azul is a two story villa nestled in a tropical garden in the beautiful gated Coastal community of Playacar. Playacar is a residential community of custom homes and villas just outside the town of Playa del Carmen, Mexico. This home has large living areas and patios where you can swing in your hammock and look out over the crystal-blue waters of the Carribean.

The home has a full size kitchen, ceiling fans, washer dryer and a CD/Cassette player. The furnishings are quiant Mexican authentic style. We offer maid service three times per week included in your rental rate. You can also request one of our fine cooks to come prepare two meals a day for your party for only $35 a day for as many or as few of days as you would like.

Casa Mar Azul is just a 10 minute walk from the Ferry dock in Playa Del Carmen which has several ferries each day to and from Cozumel. In the evening, you can stand in front of the home and see the twinkling lights of Cozumel across the Sea.

If you like the history and romance of the Yucatan, you will love staying in Playacar. Playacar is home to many ancient Mayan ruins that are highlighted at night and just steps from the home for you to view.

Playa Del Carmen is located just 35 minutes South of Cancun and offers miles of clean powdery white sand and turquoise waters, great restaurants and shopping without the towering hotels and crowds of tourists.

Playacar's spectacular 18 hole golf course and tennis courts are approximately 10 minutes walk from the home as well as the Aviary in Playacar. If you prefer to walk for miles on sandy white beaches, this is the spot for you!

Nearby Attractions include Cancun (35 min.), Cozumel (30 min. by Ferry), Tulum Mayan Ruins (25 min.), Puerto Aventuras (10 min.), Akumal (15 min.), and the famous Chichen-Itza ruins (3 hrs.).
