Slave Quarter Suite

The Slave Quarter Suite is an exceptionally spacious apartment located in the French Quarter. Originally the two-story wing of an 1830's townhouse, guests enter the suite from a shared courtyard. Downstairs the suite offers a living area and a dining area, along with a small kitchen. The original double cooking fireplaces (no longer working) lend a historic feel to the suite. A spiral staircase leads to the second floor where a large bedroom features a queen-sized bed along with a full bath. This suite offers exceptional space and quiet, yet right in the heart of New Orleans. Airconditioned, ceiling fans, telephone, television, iron, ironing board, and a kitchen equipped with stove, sink, refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. Guests may also use the shared courtyard which contains a table and chairs.

From the calm of the courtyard it's only steps to the museums, fabled restaurants, fun bars, and delights of the French Quarter. The charm of New Orleans makes guests feel part of the Crescent City. Parking is available at a nearby guarded lot for an additional charge.

Payment Procedures To secure your reservation, we require a credit card at the time of booking. Actual payment for your reservation is processed by the property manager after you have booked. Please read the policies below for this lodging's accepted payment types and procedures. Policies Payment Options: VISA, MasterCard, Traveler's Check, Cashiers/Registered Check, Money Order Special Events carry special rates and advanced payment requirements: They include New Years, Sugar Bowl, Mardi Gras Season, French Quarter Festival, Jazz Fest, Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th Weekend, Essence Festival, Labor Day Weekend, Southern Decadence, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. We try to be flexible with check-in and check-out times, depending on bookings. Our standard check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 PM (Noon), although we can usually accomodate our guests needs. Maximum of four people in the French Creole Suite. Cancellations and Refunds Reservation deposits are usually refundable (less a $10 administrative charge) if cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival. There is no refund of reservation deposits if trip is cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival. Deposits Reservations require a deposit of 20% of the expected total to be charged to a Visa or Mastercard. To hold the reservation the total must be charged and the receipt signed within 48 hours of making reservation. The remainder is usually due at check-in, with exceptions for major events and groups, which require advance payment in full. For major events, full payment is required and non-refundable in advance.
