Description of the Property

We have a TRUE Ski-in/ski-out 3br/2ba Custom Log Home above Peak 8 in Breckenridge, Colorado(See our private trail picture). We have hardwood and slate floors with radiant heat. Our logs, Red Cedar, came from Canada. We have a natural river rock fireplace in the living room and in the master bedroom. We have antique furniture throughout the house. We also have full kitchen facilities with granite countertops. There are laundry facilities for your convenience. We have a separate two car log garage which saves you from any snow removal on your vehicle. Snowplow service is also provided so there is no need for shoveling snow.

Our bedrooms have queen size pillow top mattresses with down comforters and flannel sheets. We have a surround sound audio/visual system with Dvd/cd player in the living room and master bedroom. We have separate Vcr/dvd players and televisions in the downstairs bedrooms. Cable TV with movie channels are provided. We have pre-recorded videos, but we always recommend bringing your favorite DVDs, VHS tapes, and compact discs for music.

We are located above the base of Peak Eight, adjacent to Trygves Run. You ski down to any of the major lifts on Peak Eight, and we have a private trail directly into our back door, right off of Trygves Run. Our home backs up to over a thousand acres of National Forest (the Breckenridge Ski Area). Trygves Run is also where lessons are offered for beginners, and a great place to sled after skiing. We find it easier to come home for lunch than to eat at any of the restaurants.

We are located 5 minutes above the town of Breckenridge. Breckenridge has a wide variety of excellent restaurants, and a wide variety of activities including ice skating, cross country skiing (near our home), just to name a few. You can ski from our home down to town and take a free shuttle to Keystone and A-Basin. Vail also offers a shuttle for a few dollars. You never have to worry about paying for parking, or driving your car when you are ready to ski!

We are a definite Non-smoking home!
