Two quaint cottages with their own lakefront boathouse with family size hot tub resting steps from the shores of enchanting China Lake. Having two cottages 30-40 feet apart yet sharing 140ft of private waterfront makes it an ideal setting for two families or an extended family.
The larger 1000 sqft 2BR/1bath cottage is 20 feet from the water's edge and sleeps 6. The smaller 600 sqft 1BR/1bath cottage is 40 feet from the water and sleeps 4. Both have fully equipped country kitchens with 3 year old appliances, gas heat, views from almost every room, their own decks, vcr's, gas grills. Share the hammock, dock, waterfront, boats, hot tub, lawn, firepit but always have the option to retire back to your own private space.
Surrounded by level lawn with older growth trees around the perimeter, there are both shaded and sunny spots (decks in the sun with umbrellas).

The boathouse, with its 6 person hot tub and eating/relaxing area, is a great place to enjoy our outstanding sunsets. Both cottages are self sufficient with their own appliances, gas grills, vcr's, decks, teak deck furniture and umbrellas, and gas cast iron stoves which give the feeling of a woodstove without all the work. Use our rowboats, kayak, or canoes or bring your own motor boat and explore 7 mile long China Lake. Plenty of off street parking and space for your own boat and trailer. The public boat ramp is minutes away and you can tie up to our private dock. Access to the water is via stairs from the land, stairs from the dock, ladder at the end of the dock, or simply jumping off at end of the dock! Water depth is gradual, 6 inches at shoreline and over 5 feet at the end of the dock.

Only 15 minutes from the capital of Augusta and Interstate 95; 20 minutes to golf courses; 30-45 minutes to the midcoast area (Camden, Rockport, Rockland, Belfast, Lincolnville)and its lighthouses, beaches, Rockland Breakwater, Samoset Resort, ferries to the islands (Islesboro, Vinalhaven, North Haven), schooners, antiquing, and oceanfront restaurants; easy day trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park for great oceanfront biking, hiking, shopping, sailing, whalewatching, and waterfront dining.

Rental Rate Notes
$900 weekly rate is for the larger cottage and hot tub (excluding small cottage). $1400/$1750 weekly rate is for both cottages and hot tub. JULY SPECIAL!!! 20% Discount to $1400 plus 10 1lb LOBSTERS!Rental Policies
Housekeeping arrangement. We provide pillows and blankets. Please bring your own linens and towels. Absolutly no smoking! We are allergic. Pets ok with prior approval. Saturday to Saturday rental.
$400 refundable security deposit with rental required. The deposit will be refunded within 30 days of your stay pending verification of phone bills.
All but $50 of your rental fee will be refunded if we are able to re-rent your week no matter when you cancel. If we are unable to re-rent your week, the rental fee will be non-refundable.
