Description of the Property
The Barefoot Beach House is located in South Palmetto Point just south of Governor's Harbour, Eleuthera. With 205' of Sandy Beach just outside your front door we expect you to kick off your shoes and Relax!! We offer you a choice of accomodations to fit your needs. The "Mermaid Cottage" has a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom with queen size bed, bath with oversized shower for two, living room sleeper sofa & dining area all overlooking the beach and water. The "Seashell Suite" & "Bonefish Bungalow" each have a king size bed and sleeper sofa, dining area, fully equipped kitchen with full size refrig and full bath with tub/shower. These units can be combined to give you a 1, 2 or 3 bedroom. All this sits on 1.5 acres with swaying palm trees, fruit trees and green grass. Come into the long private driveway and enjoy beautiful crystal clear water views. Relax in the hammock under the palm trees with your favorite book & a drink. Wake up to the sunrise on one side of the house and relax with drinks as you watch the sun set on the other side of the house. The stars, like diamonds in the sky with no lights to interfere, are breathtaking. Stay at the house and enjoy swimming, soaking up the sun, snorkeling, fishing or challenge someone to a game of horseshoes or volleyball. Put in the boat or canoe and explore the waters. Relax with an outside shower at the end of the day.
All units are tropically decorated and have beautiful water views. We have lots of comforts like Dvd/vcr, cable TV, CD/radio, hair dryers, games for kids and adults, iron & iron boards, masks & snorkels, beach towels, beach chairs, boat and canoe. For your relaxation there is a 8'wide patio that wraps around the whole home. Each unit has its own patio furniture and there is a gas grill and charcoal BBQ for your use. In the yard you have a horseshoe pit & a volleyball/badmitton area. Play the tide right and catch a bonefish right off the beach. IF you need to connect with the "real world", South Palmetto Point offers a brand new computer & library center within walking distance so you can check your emails. You will find The Barefoot Beach House always relaxing, squeaky clean and comfortable. We Expect you to kick off your shoes and go barefoot.and leave all your worries behind!!! Once you visit us.you'll never want to go home!!!
For your privacy we only offer housekeeping on request at an additional charge. Of course.clean towels and linen are always available.

You'll never even want to leave the property...with 1.5 acres right on a sandy beach. We have all the comforts for you...starting inside you have hair dryers, DVD/VCR and cable TV, CD player/radio, books, games, beach towels, iron and iron board, coolers for bringing beverages to the beach & much more. Each unit offers a fully equpped kitchen and full size refrig. The Mermaid Cottage has a great oversized walk-in shower with room for 2 and the Seashell Suite & Bonefish Bungalow each have a full bath with tub/shower. Outside you can enjoy the boat, canoe, horseshoe pit, volleyball, hammock & outside shower. We offer masks and snorkels for your use as well as "noodle floats" & beach chairs. Quick walk to South Palmetto's brand new computer & library center to check your emails. We can also arrange for a car/jeep rental at a discounted rate for you.

Rental Rate Notes
The Mermaid rents for $1200/week and the Bonefish and Seashell rent for $800/week. The units can be combined to give you a 2 or 3 bedroom.Rental Policies
All of our units are NON-SMOKING. For your privacy and enjoyment, daily maid service is only available upon request. Fresh towels and linens are always available. The rentals are as follows: Mermaid Cottage: $1200/week ( $180/night) Seashell Suite or Bonefish Bungalow: $800/week ($125/night) Mermaid Cottage/Seashell Suite as 2 bedroom is $1600/week Whole House: $2400/week **We do require a 3 night minimum stay. Ask about whole house discount.
50% deposit at time of booking. Balance due within 30 days of check-in. We accept cash, checks, money orders or travellers checks.
Deposit non-refundable within 30 days of check-in. In the event of a hurricane, deposit will be refundable or time can be transferred.
