"Wolakota" meaning "friendship and peace." We welcome you to our charming and sunny Sierra cabin nestled in the pines. The cabin is located in a peaceful setting in the heart of Tahoe Donner and backs to Tahoe National Forest. It is only minutes away from downtown Truckee, ski resorts, lakes, casinos, restaurants and shopping. Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath home sleeps up to 7 comfortably and is child proof, completely furnished and has a 2-car garage. It is ready for a weekend or week long retreat in the mountains. The cabin has an airlock entry and includes beautiful hardwood floors and ceilings, open kitchen and living room plan, breakfast bar, rock fireplace, and south-facing deck. The master bedroom is located upstairs with a queen bed and walk-in closet. The downstairs bedrooms include a twin bunk in one, with a TV/DVD/VCR-great for the kids. The other bedroom has a full/twin bunk and an adjoining bathroom. All bedrooms have beautiful forest views. Cabin Amenities: Includes fully furnished kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances (dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, refrigerator w/ ice maker) toaster, coffee maker, blender, cooking utensils, dishes, etc. Cable TV, Video/DVD Player (upstairs and downstairs), central vaccuum, central heat, firewood.

Our cabin is located only minutes from Will's Market, The Lodge Restaurant, TD golf course, TD equestrian center, TD cross-country ski resort, TD downhill ski resort, Northwoods Clubhouse and Trout Creek Recreation Center which includes a gym, swimming pool, hot tubs, sauna, steam room and massage.

Rental Rate Notes
A 10% occupancy tax to the Town of Truckee will be added. Holiday rates are subject to change.Rental Policies
There is a Security Deposit of $250 required which is refundable. We also ask for a $100 deposit with each pet which will be refunded if cabin is left clean and undamaged by the pet. A 10% occupancy tax to the town of Truckee will be added, along with a cleaning fee of $135 which is non-refundable. Weekly rates are subject to change if rented during a holiday. A 2-NIGHT MINIMUM IS REQUIRED. A 1 WEEK MINIMUM IS REQUIRED DURING CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS.
A 50% deposit will be due upon reservation. Full payment is due one month prior to check-in. If reservations are made less than 30 days before intended arrival then payment must be made in full.
The security deposit & pet deposit(s) will be refunded within 30 days of departure if the cabin is found clean and without damage. Cancellation policy - Rental deposit will be refunded in full if given a 30-day notice of cancellation prior to arrival. If less than 30 days half the deposit will be refunded.
