Our premium home (which was originally built for Richard Nixon) is located on Marco Island at the end of a peaceful cul de sac. It is located about 5 minutes away from the main shopping area and many excellent restaurants.

The large lot is 1/3 of an acre and has 260 feet of waterfront "frontage" and the pool area faces the "all important" south direction for maximum sunshine. The house has 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, a 2 car garage, and a large 20x40 foot in-ground pool that is heated. The house has been recently redecorated and updated with new furniture. NEW AS OF October 2008 - we have installed a large 1,000 square foot pool deck which is perfect for sunbathing with extra outdoor lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas.

The layout of the house is fantastic with 3 different buildings in an L-shape design (all under one roof) built around the pool. The main building has the living room, formal dining room, kitchen, the master bedroom and bathroom. The living room has a large 50-inch television with VCR and DVD player. One of the walls in the living room is all windows that overlooks the pool area so people can sit in the living room and visit while still being able to keep an eye on people in the pool area. There are 2 sofas, a loveseat and 2 recliners so there is plenty of places to sit. The dining room has a formal dining table and 10 chairs. The kitchen has the standard amenities including a microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher and coffee maker.

The second building has 3 bedrooms with 2.5 more bathrooms - one of the bath and bedrooms is located upstairs. Every bedroom has a private entrance to a bathroom. The third building consists of a large 2-car garage, laundry room and another bathroom/shower. The bathroom is located near the pool so people don't have to run inside the house while they're wet. The unique layout offers more privacy (and quiet) than other homes.

The large pool is heated by both a solar cover and a water heater. The pool sits on the ALL Important south side of the house so the sun is shining on the area for most of the day (perfect for sun bathing).

The house is perfect for families or four couples. We had nine people there at Christmas and everyone was very comfortable. There are 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed, 1 bedroom with a king bed, and the fourth bedroom has a double bed and 2 single beds in the same room. The living room has a pull-out sofa. In all it could sleep up to 12. Every bedroom has a TV and all have cable TV. In the backyard there are several palm trees, orange trees and grapefruit trees.

This premium property is located in a prestigious neighborhood and is a 5 minute drive (10 minutes by bicycle) to Marco Island's fabulous 3 mile powdery pink sand beaches. The property has water access to the superb inland waterways in the Marco Island-Naples area, is beautifully decorated, fully equipped and air conditioned.

There are local tennis facilities and the Naples area has some of the best public golf courses in the United States. There are two or three marinas on the Island where you can rent a cruiser or pontoon boat for the day to cruise up the inland waterways to Naples and picnic on the Gulf beaches.
