Description of the Property

At the center of Provence, Eygalières, an authentic Provençal village, the 3500 square feet villa is located on 4 acres and has a superb view over the Alpilles mountains. The property is located in a peaceful area, is planted with olive, cypress, pine, bamboo and fruit trees, lavender, oleanders, and roses. The large grass field and is ideal for children because it is perfectly flat and without obstacles. The house is in perfect condition, can accommodate 10 people and includes a large living room with fireplace and dining room, fully equipped kitchen, 5 air conditioned bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, 7 toilets. The lounge, kitchen, dining room, the summer dining room, and the master bedroom all enjoy a splendid views of the Alpilles and the other rooms look out on the greenery. Two bedrooms are upstairs including the master bedroom with private terrace, and of the three bedrooms on the ground floor, two have a separate entrance. The bedrooms are equipped with beds as follows: 2 (6ft x 6ft9), 1 (5ft4 x 6ft9), 1 (4ft7 x 6ft9), 2 (3ft4x6ft9). Each bedroom has its own bathroom with toilet and shower. Two of these bathrooms also have a bathtub. The house has a large plasma satellite TV and Wi-Fi broadband Internet. All telephone calls to the United States are free and phone calls to non cell phones in France and most of the world are free (enquire). The heatable (150 euros a week) swimming pool measures 40ft x 20ft, has a staircase, a solar shower, a blanket and a electric shady arbor. The pool is surrounded by a fence for child safety. The towels for the pool are provided. The house has a garage with a remote control operated garage door and two parking spots under a covered open air garage. You can access the property by a remote control operated gate.

Things to do. The house is ideal for both those wishing to visit Provence, being at the center of the main sites, and for those who want to enjoy the pool and this exceptional place. In less than 30 minutes by car, les Baux de Provence, Saint Remy, Arles, Avignon, the Luberon. Less than an hour away by car are Aix en Provence, Orange, Vaison la Romaine, Marseille, Nimes, Pont du Gard, the Camargue, the Calanques of Cassis, the Mediterranean, and so on. Celebrations include: Festivals of Avignon, Aix en Provence, Orange, and La Roque d 'Antheron. Bullfights in Nimes and Arles. There are Provencal markets in the surrounding villages each day of the week including in Eygalières, Saint Remy and Isle sur la Sorgue. Important center for antiques in Isle sur la Sorgue (20km). In Eygalières there are three bars and 4 restaurants (one Michelin two stars) with shaded terraces and all shops and services (including medical) needed. Saint-Rémy de Provence is 11 km away and has many shops and restaurants. The Marseille airport is 65 km away (45 minutes), that of Avignon 25 Km The Avignon TGV station is 30 km. The journey by train to reach Paris is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
