Description of the Property
The Plantation House is unique to Playa del Carmen. Quietly located between Playa's famous 5th Ave. and famous white sandy beaches only one block from each. It's style Inspired by the grand Caribbean Island estates. Boasting abundant, large openings dressed with adjustable white shutters and decorative fret work, which lets that cool sea breeze flow in. Together with the antique patterned floor, the Plantation House will take you back to the Victorian era. The penthouse we are featuring,has been described as the most charming suite in Playa del Carmen. The ocean view can be enjoyed from every room. Watch the boats pass by while you breakfast in bed or walk out to a large private roof terrace, where you may lounge in a chair or take a refreshing outdoor shower! Not meant to be the main shower of the suite yet many guests could not resist the novelty of of it and found themselves enjoying the great outdoors more often than it's indoor model.
The owners have taken care to create a relaxing decor. To make your experience here more enjoyable provided are such items as Housekeeping offered twice a week, a washer, air conditioning, cable t.v. and C.D. player, plus attention was given to the quality of linens and towels etc.
The creators and managers of the Plantation House, here in Playa del Carmen are residing in the edifice and are always happy to accommodate their guests.

Activities and Attractions
On the beautiful beaches of Playa you will find Various activities available including; windsurfing,kite boarding,sailing,kayaking,deep sea fishing, snorkelling and scuba diving. If you can pull yourself away from the beach, you can also explore the many Mayan ruins easily visited by professional tours, or a 45 minute to a 2 and a half hour drive depending on which site you are interested in. Closer by are under water caves to explore.

Rental Rate Notes
Extra guests over the 2 guest base,may be charged $15- 25/ night depending on the season, and age. Children under 12 are exemptRental Policies
Please note that the holiday rate given is per week with in the period stated. Inquire for discounts for reservations of two weeks or longer! A 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation. Deposits can be easily made through a bank money transfer. The balance may be paid in cash upon arrival. A damage deposit of $200.00 is required, returned at departure.
A refund of 50% of the deposit will be granted to cancelations made prior to 30 days of reservation. Any other payments made above the 50% deposit will be refunded in full. **As we had expericed a huricane in 2005, all clients were given a choice of re-scheduling or a FULL refund. If they were not able to make it here due to airline cancellatioons, or if our facility was in disrepair. Any refunds rewarded will not include any banking charges.

Golf clubs available

We now have fine new Golf clubs to offer you while your are here. There is no need to haul your clubs down. To play any of the several championship courses in the area. We have two sets of clubs available, - Ben Hogan and Callaways for your enjoyment, at a lending fee of just $10 each.
In town is the well groomed Playacar Golf club, just outside of town is the Maya Koba where they host the PGA tour in February, plus the Mayan Palace has a lovely 18 hole par 3.
If you are just one golfer in the family, let me know cause I'm always looking for an excuse to go golfing!
