We are located near Nemo, and halfway in between Rapid City and historic Deadwood in the heart of the National Forest. Our new cottage offers all of the comforts of home with total privacy and has a small stream meandering through the property. This vacation home sits on five acres and is very secluded. After spending your days seeing all of the sights that the Black Hills have to offer, you will enjoy returning to the cottage and relaxing on the patio or the porch. Little Elk Cottage is ideal for your vacation, honeymoon, anniversary, holiday celebration or anytime you want to get away from it all. We are centrally located to all Black Hills attractions-Mt. Rushmore, Rapid City, Deadwood, Sturgis, Spearfish and Custer. Our vacation home is within the beautiful Black Hills National Forest. This secluded area is surrounded by wilflife--elk, wild turkeys, whitetail deer, bald eagles and coyotes. We are located in the heart of Vanocker Canyon and only three miles from Little Elk Canyon. The Custer Expedition camped near our property in 1872 and glory holes from early settlers can be found as you hike around the hills surrounding the Cottage.

Activities and Attractions
We are near historic Deadwood, which is steeped in history. Dalton Lake, Wonderland Cave, and the Centennial Trail are all within a few minutes drive. Hiking to the top of Bear Butte during your stay is a must. Mount Rushmore is only a 40-45 minute drive through the majestic Black Hills.

Rental Policies
We are open year-round. Our rates begin at $175 per night for our cottage for 2 adults. Each additional adult is $20 per night and children are $15 each per night, plus tax. We offer 10-30% discounts from October to April 15, depending upon the length of your stay. A seventh night free is available during the months of October through April.
