Description
The Round House, (Featured here) consists of one large bedroom with a queen size bed and also comes equipped with a queen sized pull out couch in the living room. This house is decorated in oriental motif with attention to detail such as the high ceilings, ceiling fans to hand woven wooden blinds. The bathroom features a Jacuzzi tub for two with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dinnerware & utensils. The comfort of the living room is enhanced by the luxury of having a 27" color TV with VCR for your pleasure.
Sea Meadows is a 21 acre estate on the Queen of the Gulf Islands ~ Gabriola Island. There are 4 houses from 1-4 bedrooms that may be rented together or separately on the property.(each 1 in a very pvt. setting) Gabriola is just a 20 minute ferry ride from Nanaimo, and once on the island, Sea Meadows is less than a mile from the ferry dock. The estate consists of four homes connected by a paved oval driveway in a very private, peaceful, and pretty in a park like setting. The main residence is set back 1/3 of a mile from the rental homes to ensure maximum privacy for all. There are four(4) rental homes, the first two “The Gate House” and “The Round House” are approximately a city block apart, and are 150 & 300 feet from cozy Descanso Bay. The third house, “ The Honeymoon Hideaway” is set back further, and has it’s own private setting. The forth house, called, the “Estate House” is for rent for the first time, and sits alone on top of a small hill overlooking the valley, down to the sea.The houses are rented seperatly, or may be rented together for family reunions or corporate retreats. Only a lightly traveled road separates the estate from the natural cove and beachfront. The beach is a typical BC beach, both rocky & sandy yet flat and walk on, where you can either beach comb, swim or even launch and anchor your boat in the bay.***(The weekly rate quoted is for the "Round House" only!)*** Please see our web site for full information on the estate! CHILDRENS'S/ADULT PLAYGROUND! For the youngsters, we provide a children's playground with a trampoline, basketball hoop, slide, teeter-totter, fort, and swings. The 1/3 mile of paved circular driveway also makes riding a bicycle for children a pleasure. For adults, there is a commercial quality, well equipped gym including a 4 stack Hoist Multi - Gym, tread mill, several types of stationary bikes (including upper body), A heavy bag, a speed bag, dumbbell rack, heavy weights, incline bench, and more. (Approx. 1000 ft gym).
