Description of the Property
Holidays are a pleasure at this spacious, immaculate, inviting townhome. Just a few steps to the beautiful powder-soft sand beach. It is just across a street from the sand - and you save plenty! You get the privacy of a spacious townhouse for the price of a smaller condominium!
The July 4 week is on sale for $1000 and other July weeks are on sale for the basic price of $1400 a week (non holiday weeks with a Saturday check in) - a savings of $200.
I am out of the country in July 2009, so please contact me by phone and leave me a messsage as I will not be checking email often. But if you leave a phone message, then I will know to log on to get your email. But do not worry - we can arrange the full rental process by email.
The two large decks have full, unobstructed gulf views, as shown in the photo - so why pay more? Relax and enjoy the view of the beach. Lots of advertisements say they are "close to the beach", but do they have this view? The beach is literally just steps away. You are right there!
And you will not be cramped in a condominium. You will have a full 1850 square foot house to enjoy. And one that is only 6 years old, and seems even newer because there is all brand new furniture. This is the place you want if you have a family (or two) on vacation!
The dual master suites can comfortably accomodate 6 adults. One of the two very spacious bedroom suites has a king-size bed and the other has a queen size bed and a day-bed, and both have their own full bath. With the two fold-out queen-size sofa-sleepers in the living room for the kids, a total of 10 sleep comfortably.
The two balconies, each with a view of the gulf, provide a nice reading area in the morning sun or a great place to eat dinner. There are also two additional balconies in the front of the house.
This "home away from home" comes with all imaginable amenities. Three large TVs, cable, DVD, VCR, stereo, and CD keep you well entertained while not at the beach. There are many upgrades, including tiled kitchen and living room, and white Berber carpeting in the bedrooms. Each bathroom has a pretty Talavera sink.
A full kitchen, with dishwasher and all dishware, cookware and utensils, is included for your convenience. There is a separate dining area. Bed linens and other necessities are provided for your care-free holiday. A washer and dryer make packing easy! Phone with free local calls.
The far end of the island is a state park, where you can be completely alone on the beach - to meditate, relax or watch the dolphins playing! The island also has horse back riding, a water park, a sea-turtle shleter/museum, boat tours (for great fishing and for dolphin-viewing tours), fantastic restaurants and nightclubs.

Activities and Attractions
South Padre Island island is the perfect get-away destination to relax. The sugar-white, powder-soft beaches are a sight to behold, as is the tranquil, clear turquoise water. The Gulf water averages 78 degrees year-round. Dolphins can often be seen playing. Activities include hiking, biking, fishing, deep sea fishing, sail boating, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and wind surfing. There is a championship golf course ten minutes away. There is even free bus service to get around the island.Or visit Mexico for a shopping experience - it is only 25 miles away.
There are fantastic restaurants - Seafood, Barbecue, and Mexican - or get some just-caught jumbo shrimp from the fisherman and grill it yourself.

A maximum of 10 people can stay, but Each extra guest in addtion to the original 4 is $100 per week ($200 during spring break). The maximum is 10 people. Rates do not include Texas Tax, (thus add 14.5%) There is a Cleaning Fee of $100 Downpayment of 40% holds the reservation (100% for Spring Break) Balance of payment due 30 days prior to check in. Refundable $400 security deposit ($1000 for Spring Break) Three day minimum stay. Monthly rates are for 4 calendar weeks (28 days). Weekly rates are for Saturday to Saturday stays. Refunds availble 30 days prior to check in only. Amount of refund is dependant on our renting the home to someone else for the same dates. IF we rent if for the full amount, you get a full refund. If we rent it for less, you get the difference. IF we cannot rent it, no refund is made (ie. the intent is to have cancellations as early as possible to allow time to find new replacement renters)
