Description of the Property

Komohana now has extended capacity you can customize to your group! Our luxury vacation rental house has four bedrooms and three baths on the main level perfect for the extended family visit - Grandparents, Kids, and Grandkids! Now you will have a lowel level available that has 3 BRs and 1 Bathroom and will sleep up to 8. This will make the total capacity up to 17!! We have a large pool in front of the kitchen, which allows you to watch the kids playing in the pool while preparing the next great meal! The large front lanai has a fantastic ocean view and you can see surfers, whales and dolphins with the naked eye, but binoculars are included!

Great Ocean View! 15-Mile Range of Kona Coast & awesome sunsets from front lanai. Our subdivision has underground cables, rare in Kona, for unobstructed views. In back our private pool is ready 24/7 w/outdoor bathroom for changing & showering. Inside, the large, open entertainment area opens to ocean views and trade winds as well as the rear pool and barbeque area. The roomy kitchen is well equipped with new cookware and a Jenn-Aire cooktop. For dining, we have a 8 person Dining Room Table, both inside and by the pool, as well as a 4 person outdoor table on the front lanai. For your comfort, our home has A/C with split zones for added comfort, as well as ceiling fans in all bedrooms and entertainment area. The A/C is at no extra costs per day, unlike other rentals you may find in Kona. The electronics are very good, with a 53"Big Screen Sony TV with Samsung Dvd/vcr and cable TV in a custom koa wood entertainment center cabinet. Also, we have a Sony Stereo System w/supplied island CD collection in the 50 disc jukebox. For fun, we have Xbox, Game cube, and Nintendo 64 Video Games and a large Disney VCR tape library in Kid's Room. For the internet, we have Two Computers. 1 desktop and a Toshiba laptop with wireless broadband internet. Also, we have a wide selection of board games & puzzles when you need to get out of the sun! When you are outside and not in the pool, we have a Kettler Ping Pong table that can be setup in the carport area. Also, driveway basketball in provided. Our neighborhood is 1 of FEW in Kona with wide streets & sidewalks, so you can take a walk around and not feel crowded. For the runners, it is a very nice area to train as you can either stay on level terrain across the hills or challenge the hills up and down! Also on the property you have a large side yard to throw a ball or Frisbee around. We have motion lights around the property for your safety and convenience. Down the hill, there are 2 beaches nearby. There is a surfing-bay (Lehman's) 1 mile away, usually good if there is a swell. The second is Magic Sands; a great boogie/body boarding beach is 2-miles/5 min.

Rental Rate Notes

The Expansion Area is an additional cost and rents in a range of $99-249 depending upon occupancy and length of stay. Please email for a quote on this area. It can sleep up to 8 more people. Cleaning is also extra for this area at $100 plus tax. Cleaning for the rest of the house is $200 plus tax.

Rental Policies

Reservation Policy A 24 hr courtesy "aloha hold" can be placed upon a time slot so you can check on airfare and car rentals. A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking and full payment is due 60 days prior to arrival ***************** The price listed is based on the unit per night. Taxes of 11.416% are added to each reservation. A cleaning fee of $200 is charged to all reservations. All homes require a refundable $500 damage deposit by check or money order.

Deposit Policy Courtesy Hold: A 24 hour reservation hold can be placed upon a time slot so you can check on airfare and car rentals. Reservation Deposit: A 25% credit card deposit is required at the time of booking. Full payment is due 60 days prior to arrival. Damage Deposit: A $500 damage deposit is required. Cancellation: In the event of cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy We are flexible and fair with our cancellations. If you need to cancel, we will work hard to find a replacement for your time slot!
