Rental Policies
Reservations: Tentative reservations must be approved via the telephone or e-mail contact information before any payments or reservation forms can be accepted. Rates: All Rates include local sales and resort taxes Check-in: Check-in time is after 4:00 p.m. on the day of your arrival unless otherwise agreed to in writing. Check-out: Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. on the day of your departure. Please observe this rule as our housekeeping staff needs time to prepare for our next guests. Housekeeping: Any reservation under 5 nights must pay a $55 cleaning fee. Other: Rental rates are per week, seven night rates. Daily rates may be offered upon request. All Fees must be paid in US dollars at the prevailing rate. Travelers Cheques are acceptable. Rates include all utilities except for gas pool heating which is extra. ($25 per day with a 3 day minimum). Where there is an overlap into another rate, a pro-rata rate will apply. Telephone service is restricted to local and toll free use. If planning to make long distance calls, use a toll free number to access your your long distance carrier or calling card service
Deposit: Once approved, a Rental Deposit of $200 per week or a fraction therof plus a completed booking form muct be received within 14 days into a CONFIRM a tentative reservation. The balance of the rental amount is due upon check-in. Reservation confirmation will be provided via telephone or e-mail upon receipt of the deposit and the booking form. Pool Heat: Rates include all utilities except for gas pool heating which is extra. ($25 per day with a 3 day minimum). The pool is also solar heated. Typically gas heating is only needed in the winter months.
Cancellations: In the event of a cancellation of a confirmed rental for any reason, notice must be provided in writing. We will make every reasonable effort to re-rent the property. If the property is re-rented for the original rental amount, you will receive a refund of the advance deposit payment. If re-rented for less than the original rental amount, you will receive the balance of the advanced rental payment less an amount necessary to make full payment to the owner.
