SKI Special-30 Per Cent OFF-Whitefish Mtn. Ski In-Out Lux Condo WPlasma TV

Snow! by the foot has arrived at Whitefish Mountain Resort (formerly know as Big Mountain) above Whitefish, Montana in the Flathead Valley-Glacier Park year round recreational area. Whether it's fresh powder, corduroy groomers, cross country trails, tubing, or ice skating; everything you need for a memorable winter get-away is within easy walking distance of Unit #204 in luxurious Morning Eagle Lodge located slopeside in Whitefish Mountain Resort's base village. With 3000 skiable acres, 3 hi-speed quads, 8 more regular speed lifts, and terrain varying from open steep and deep to long steady groomers to powder-filled glades of trees, you'll always find plenty of uncrowded top-quality conditions at Big Mountain without long waits in lift lines. Also not to dismissed lightly is the fact that Morning Eagle Lodge is located slopeside 4450 feet above sea level so your visit won't include the complications and literal headaches of high altitude acclimatization that come with most other ski areas.

As for indoor amenities, Morning Eagle 204 offers a perfect compliment to the outdoor action, from its large screen plasma TV over the fireplace for theater-like movie screenings to the plush robes for the trip to and from the roof-top hot tub where stargazing is truly awe inspiring. For further personal entertainment, both bedrooms are equipped with a 20 inch cable TV and a DVD player and you can make your movie viewing choice from the currently 75 plus titles in the ever expanding DVD library. An assortment of books and games are available as well for the entertainment of all ages. Also, free wireless high speed internet access is provided so it is easy and quick to power up your laptop to stay in touch or to gather the info you need to plan your day.

A completely equipped kitchen with full-size appliances, espresso machine, crockpot, granite countertops, and more is complimented by easy access to a top-of-the-line stainless steel high temp roof-top gas grill for that gourmet barbecued meal. AND the cook gets quite a view, including the peaks of Glacier eastward and the city of Whitefish along with the Flathead Valley spreading out to the south 2500 feet below. Roof-top tables are also available for 'al-fresco' dining.

In regards to bedding arrangements, the master bedroom and guest bedroom both have plush top king beds that each can be split into two extra long twins for the added flexibility of more beds for more individual sleeping comfort. The living area provides a sofabed so the unit in total can comfortably accommodate six people in up to five individual beds.

Morning Eagle Lodge is the newest, most luxurious building in the Whitefish Mountain Resort Village and consists of 49 units. This unit is one of the few of the 49 that is private since it shares no walls with any other unit and, as such, allows you to enjoy your stay without having to concern yourself with the neighbors. The picture window dining table and both slopeside decks offer a front row seat for keeping an eye on your budding downhillers on the beginners lift or the more advanced showstopping daredevils in the half-pipe and terrain park further uphill.

For added convenience for skiers, Morning Eagle 204 has its own ski locker down just one flight of stairs from the unit's front door so you can be on the slopes of Big Mountain in literally seconds as a ski lift is less than 100 yards gently downhill from the locker's exterior door. The locker is also useful for storing summer outdoor gear to reduce clutter inside the condo itself. Also, for those who want to augment their outdoor activities with a convenient indoor workout, there's a fully-equipped fitness facility on Morning Eagle's ground floor, available to all guests via ME 204's front door key.

Linens are included, of course, and maid service is available upon request.

For groups larger than six or for those needing more than 5 beds, Morning Eagle #204 can provide access to a wonderfully appointed luxurious 1 BR condo with a sofabed nearby in the building.

As an unexpected bonus for all those who use the airlines to travel here, Whitefish Mountain Resort is one of the closest ski and summer resorts in the continental United States to an airport served by large jets. It is an easy 19.1 mile drive from the baggage claim area of friendly and personal Glacier International Airport, just outside of Kalispell, Montana, to your own parking space in the heated underground garage beneath Morning Eagle Lodge. Hard to find an easier hassle-free airport-to-start-of-the-vacation commute at the end of a travel day.

Lastly, the property management office and check-in is on site within walking distance, staffed to meet any of your needs and/or requests.

We have tried to cover it all but there is always more so please do not hesitate to e-mail or call with any questions.

Activities and Attractions

It almost goes without saying, that the skiing at Big Mountain is beyond the expectations of nearly all who make their first winter visit here. Huge acreages of untracked snow, nonexistent lift lines, and an over abundance of on mountain activities are the trademarks of a Big Mountain ski experience. Winter or summer, once you've been here, you will dream about returning until you do.

Big Mountain Resort also offers various summer activities on site within steps such as guided and unguided hiking, mountain biking and racing, tennis, concerts, gondola rides to and from the summit (hike up and ride down free!) and much more. There are at least 8 golf courses within a half hours' drive, including challenging designs by Jack Nicklaus and Tom Fazio. The awesome natural beauty of Glacier National Park is easily accessible via the world famous Going to the Sun Highway only 30 miles from your door. Glacier Park's many trails, waterfalls, and vistas as well as the 1930's era grand lodges built by the Great Northern Railroad at East Glacier, Lake McDonald, and Many Glacier are worth days of exploration. The fishing within a thirty minute drive is advertised as some of the nation's best on streams, rivers, and lakes. Flathead Lake, 30 minutes to the south, is the largest freshwater lake west of the Great Lakes and offers excellent sailing, boating and fishing.
