Casa De Velas is a brand new (March, 2005) three bedroom villa located on the Riviera Maya. This villa is one of six that make up the Villas of Sian-Ka'an in Playacar Phase II, the exclusive gated resort community of Playa Del Carmen. The six villas share a very large pool and palapa area with bathroom that is perfect for parties. Enjoy sitting on the villa's terrace overlooking the 6th tee of the Robert Von Hagge designed golf course, widely recognized as one of the top golf courses in the world. This 7202 yard, par 72 layout is as beautiful to look at as it is exciting to play.

Amid a tropical Caribbean climate, spectacular natural beauty and Mayan culture, Casa De Velas inspires relaxation, tranquility, and a feast for the senses. The large living room has seating for 8 and a built-in entertainment center with satellite tv and a home theater system for enjoying your favoriteCD's, DVD's or VCR tapes. The fully equipped kitchen awaits the amateur chef or ask us about hiring a cook for your stay. Enjoy your meals at the kitchen dining table, counter bar stools, or at the patio table overlooking the pool. The three bedrooms all have private bathrooms with shower and the master bath consists of a large tub and separate shower. Each bedroom has its own terrace. The Casa is fully air conditioned with individual room controls.

Casa De Velas is located just 2 miles from Playa Del Carmen's famed "La Quinta" (5th Avenue - pedestrian only street) where you can shop, dine, and dance the night away. As a guest, you are entitled to use the Playacar VIP card that entitles you to receive discounts at the Reef Club Playacar, a beachfront resort just 1.2 miles from the casa. There is no charge for use of the beach, lounge chairs, or pool, however, for $40.00 for adults and $20.00 for children (between the hours of 9am-6pm or 6pm-2am), you can enjoy all-inclusive privileges including unlimited meals, snacks, beverages, and alcoholic drinks plus use of the on-site gym, pool activities and all non-motor water sports activities. There is also a kid's area which has adult supervision, so you can relax on the beach while your children are busy with their own activities! (please NOTE - The Reef Club has the right to deny access to Rental Guests if they have met their maximum occupancy on any given day)

Located just 40 minutes south of the busy, cosmopolitan city of Cancun, Playa Del Carmen is perfectly situated to enable you to enjoy the best of all that the Mayan Riviera offers. Originally a small, sleepy fishing village, Playa today retains its original charm and "hidden gem" feel while offering first-class dining and shopping alongside a plethora of activities and sightseeing adventures thanks to its close proximity to the world famous Mayan Ruins of Tulum, Chichen Itza, and Coba.

Those seeking less strenuous activities can simply walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and enjoy the warm, soothing waves of the ocean. Watersports in Playa are in plentiful supply including deep-sea fishing, snorkeling, and scuba diving. Those looking to experience the ultimate underwater experience can easily hop on the local ferry directly from downtown Playa and take the short journey over to Cozumel and explore the largest coral reef in the western hemisphere.
