Pocono Mountain Cabin
President John F. Kennedy and the Rockerfellers stayed here during hunting season. We now refer to this cabin as "The Kennedy Cabin". From the deck, a refreshing view awaits. The sound of the water running from the creek below can be heard from a distance, adding a touch of tranquility to the atmosphere. Pine trees surrounds the property. All of the major Pocono Resorts are within a short drive. A few examples are: Bushkill Falls, Ski Camelback, Ceasars Paradise Stream, and the new Great Wolf Lodge Indoor Water Park. Mount Airy Casino and Resort is just minutes away from this cabin. It features 2 floors, slot machines, table games, special poker room, restaurants and the Gypsy Club.
This cabin is charming. The large bedroom has a California King Bed. A brick fireplace lies against the wall. A moon roof is located above the bed. A fully equipped kitchen where meals can be prepared. A large living/family room (with fireplace) and a small dining nook just to the corner of this large room.
Perfect for a small family and even better for a couple. The decor is simple but elegant. When you enter this cabin, you feel as if you are in a different time and place. I often feel as if I'm in the Kennedy era.
The summers are cool and restful here in Mount Poconos. The winters are awesome. The fall is magnificent. People from all around the country come here at this time to see the leaves change colors. It is a breathtaking sight.

Activities and Attractions
Pocono Raceway is just 15 minutes away. Five (5) minutes from Trout Fishing, great for the kids.
Factory Outlet Stores (all name brand) seven minutes from this cabin. Great Wolf Indoor Water Park is about a seven minute drive also. Camelback Ski Resort is about fifteen minutes away.
Supermarkets, banks and restaurants are within surrounding areas. Walmart, K-Mart, Berger King, Mc Donald, Dunkin Donuts etc. etc.
American Candle and Pocono Candle Factory is also nearby. Here you can watch candle being made and pick up some of the most unique dolls, candles and other rare items.
The Deleware Water Gap is about fifteen minutes away. The history is facinating!
The famous Cesars Paradise Stream is within walking distance.
