Activities and Attractions

You can't go back whit out see one of the most famous beaches on Puerto Rico: Boqueron Beach. Boqueron Village is a small, charming and vibrant town that offers a feeling of friendliness and great hospitality. It is compiled of an abundance of air cantinas, food stalls, souvenir shops and dive shops. The Beach is lined with more than a mile long stretch of white sand, and has the clearest turquoise water. Although this beach is very calm and tranquil, it can become a little bit crowded on weekends and especially in the summer holidays. People meet here to share the wonderful amenities Boqueron Beach has to offer, such as picnic tables, bike rentals, a basketball court, snorkeling, scuba-diving, kite-surfing, and many other water. This beach is about 10 minutes from the apartment. If you like gambling, we have two hotels about 35 minutes drive that both have casinos, one is the Holiday Inn and the Mayaquez Hilton. For the kid’s, in the Aguadilla Town, you can find the first an only ice skating facility. Is an indoors place that you can have a wonderful time and the kid’s will love it. It’s about 45 minutes. You also can go to The Cascades Water Park. This a place that the kid’s we also enjoys. This place has a huge number of pools for kids of all ages. It’s also about 45 minutes drive. A very important thing, shopping, you are about 15 minutes from the Myaguez Mall. This is one of the most important shopping center in the west coast of Puerto Rico. You will find: Sear, JC Penny, Walt mart, etc. It also has Pizza Hut, Pizzeria Uno, Chilies, Burger King and Mc Donald’s. And the most important things, restaurant, this is the specialty of the home. You will find in about just 5 minutes all type of sea food restaurant that you can imagine. When some body ask in Puerto Rico where he can go to eat a good sea food dinner, we said, Go west, you will find the Joyuda road. They are over 15 restaurants on this road.
