Walk 100yds from your front door, over a sand dune, to this idyllic sandy beach, considered by locals to be the best on the island. Step out of the master bedroom thru patio doors to an upper balcony and sip your coffee as you gaze at the blue surf of the Gulf, one of the largest sand dunes on the Island, and an inland pond. Or sit on the new cascading deck that wraps around 3 sides. This is the north shore without the tourist crowds. Rent from a local at a local's beach. Thunder Cove is centrally located on the north shore of Prince Edward Island, at Darnley, near Malpeque. Drive 25 minutes along the most scenic drive on PEI to get to Cavendish tourist sites, including golf and the Anne of Green Gables mecca. This is a popular cottage.
