The Lagoon House is set on 2.4 private park like acres abutting one of the largest unspoiled lagoons left on Whidbey island. Enjoy exploring over 700 feet of private lagoon frontage which meanders through the lightly forrested acreage. Ninety percent of the properety is a state designated wetland which provides outstanding habitat for the large number and wide variety of birds and waterfowl you'll find here. All this just minutes from historic Coupeville, Eby's Praire National historic Preserve, and 5 State parks.

The House is a spectacular 2600 sq.ft. custom built timber frame waterfront home with architecture remeniscent of a world class wilderness lodge. It has an oversized gourmet kitchen with granite countertops throughout and a comfortable bar with seating for 4. The large dining table seats 8 easily and emphasizes the value of shared meals. All areas of the main floor are open to the great room which provides a vast open space with windows spanning the entire floor to ceiling height of 29 ft. This is made possible by the unique and unusual engineiring of the timber structure. The custom joinery found throughout the house would make any old world wood worker, artisan, or boat builder green with envy. There are plenty of seating areas both in the 2nd story loft and the great room were you'll find a large fireplace, home theater/ powerpoint presentation area,and professionally planned and installed Dolby 7.1 sound system, all with panoramic unobstructed views of the lagoon and the waters of Saratoga Passage. State of the art "in floor" heating provides year round comfort. A large patio area outside provides spacious and comfortable outdoor living. Also found on the patio is a grilling and food prep area, fire place for evening conversation, and a large hot tub, all positioned to take full advantage of the waterfront views. If you enjoy birdwatching you can stroll to the bird viewing blind at the lagoons edge. If you like being surrounded by nature you will not want to leave. Activities and Attractions

The central area of whidbey island is famous for it's breathtaking scenery, art, shops, and hiking opportunities. There are 6 State parks including an undersea state park, as well as the nations first National Historic Reserve all within 15 minutes of the Green Lantern lodge. Deception Pass State park is 45 minutes away. Those interested can bike or walk on the Port Townsend ferry and enjoy a beautiful and inexpensive 1/2 hour trip to on old victorian seaport community for a great day trip. There is one place only on the Island were on a clear day you can see the peaks of 4 volcanic mountains, we'll tell you were when you get here. Come to Whidbey Island and see for yourself why there are more B&B's and vacation rentals on Central and South Whidbey Island than anywere else in the State of Washington.

Rental Rate Notes

4 night minimum stay in peak season, 2 night minimum rest of year. One half of stay will confirm your reservation. Full payment due one week prior to move in. Discount for extended stays, 1/2 of deposit refunded for cancelled reservation if notified by e-mail at least 30 days in advance. No refund if less than 30 day notice but full credit for another reservation.

Rental Policies

One night stay required as deposit and to confirm your reservation. Full payment along with a seperate $1000.00 damage deposit check required 1week prior to move in date.

No refund if cancellation is made 30 or less days from booking date. Full refund less a "booking Fee" of $200.00 is given for cancellations made between one month or more from check in date. Owners allways maintain a waiting list and if another reservation is booked during your time block you will allways get a full refund. Forfeited deposit funds can allways be used at full value for a future reservation. The damage deposit check will be returned on check out.
