Description of the Property

Welcome to Villa Ariadna. This cute little Villa is set on five acres of hobby vineyard, hillside, and beautiful green lawn and fruit trees. Located up a country lane, you arrive at Villa Adriadna after only 5 minutes of driving from central Healdsburg. A large fountain decorates the front walkway, and two large brick stairs and brick patio adjoin the front of the home. In addition, you will immediately notice the four adirondack chairs and firepit, ideal for those clear star lit evenings in Dry Creek, where good conversation and a glass of wine top off your day.

Two entries are possible. One through the living room and one through the kitchen. Most convenient is the kitchen, where you can quickly unload grocieries (if Healdsburg Property Management hasn't already gotten them for you), are greeted by fresh flowers and welcome packet, and a renter's handbook is provided to make your stay more enjoyable for the little nuances any house has to offer. This kitchen is a true country kitchen with lots of hardwood - floors, cabinetry, dining table, accented with cherry red wall paper, wonderful view windows to the garden area in front, or the hot tub and vineyard area to the back. Wine refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, kitchenaid mixer, dishwasher, gas stove and oven, and large refrigerator freezer complete the kitchen. To the left of the kitchen is the master bedroom. This oversized room has a queen size bed, beautiful white tiled and updated bathroom with beautiful fixtures and pedistal sinks, and a combination bathtub and shower. The owners have put in a remote weather station, where you can check the outside temperature from inside.to see if you really do want to get up or just light a fire and stay put.

To the right of the kitchen is the living room - a huge room with a lodgelike feel to it (wood beamed ceiling, wood walls, and shelves, brick fireplace surrounded wood stove). There is access to the back deck and teak furniture set, hot tub, gardens and vineyards. The owner has provided a high definition plasma TV, VCR, DVD, CD, and multiple location speaker system for your enjoyment.

Through the living room is the second guest bedroom, which yellow and blue flower tones, an white wicker furniture, this room gives the guest a country daisy feeling and atmosphere. There is a queen bed, and a second bathroom just down the hall with shower. Private entry to this bedroom is accessed from the outside, where after an evening around the firepit, one can go directly to the bedroom and bypass the 'long way around'.

Completing the amenities this home has to offer is the guest cottage. It is a separate and detached cottage with queen bed, TV, full bathroom (shower, sink, toilet and nice counter space), fan for the summer, and heater for the winter. It is fully self-contained, and just like a honeymoon cottage - just steps away from the hot tub!
