Welcome to our Kiawah Island Home. We have taken great effort to make our home both beautiful and comfortable for ourselves and our guests. All furnishings are new this year. The home is only eleven years old and in perfect shape. Our home is situated on a small lake on Kiawah Island in the prestigous Vanderhorst Plantation. The location is quiet and very beautiful. The rear of the home is largely glass and offers a spectacular panoramic view of the lake. Part of Kiawah's appeal is the natural beauty of the island and the abundant wild life which are visible from every room in the house.
The home features 3 Master bedrooms with King size beds, 1 BR with 2 double beds and a 5th BR/sitting room with a trundle bed (2 twins). The house sleeps ten people. Every mattress in the home is top of the line for extra comfort.The lower level MB features a large bathroom with a Jacuzzi and access to the back deck. There is abundant living space including a large great room with 20 foot ceilings and a fireplace, a loft for quiet reading , a large screened in porch, and a game room featuring a poker/bumper pool table. Games and books are provided in the game room. There are 6 TVs with DVD and a stereo system with excellent sound for your entertainment.
A Kiawah Island vacation offers 11 miles of beautiful beach, great restaurants, world class tennis and golf , nature tours, biking on 30 miles of trails, and biking on the hard packed sandy beach, boating, deep sea fishing at the nearby Bohickit Marina and easy access to the city of Charleston. A visit to this beautiful historic city is just 40 minutes away. Its a great vacation destination year round.
