Lost River Area - 7 miles NW of Mazama. Mazama, WA 98833 Amenities: Gas Stove ( looks like a wood stove ) Pets OK (fee applies) River View, Low bank water front, private river beaches Satellite TV Private airstrip on site for our pilot guests. It is large and maintained. Price range: $140 - $175 Two night minimum, except holidays are a three day minimum. The River House is a newer, two-bedroom (one queen upstairs, one queen downstairs) cabin semi privately located on a sesoanal side channel of the Methow River in the Lost River area, seven miles northwest of Mazama. The River House has breathtaking views of Last Chance Point and Driveway Butte. It has a gas fireplace and fully-equipped kitchen. There is a small sleeper sofa in living room. The cabin has lots of windows, a front deck with a picnic table, park bench and gas barbecue, all in a nicely treed setting. Satellite TV/vcr/cd/dvd. Washer/dryer and board games are aslo provided. The cabin has a telephone, but no long distance service (please bring a calling card for long distance calls).

Whether you plan to cross-country ski, snowmobile, snow shoe, hike, rock climb, mountain bike, or just relax the River House offers all this and more within 500 feet of its rear deck. The Methow River, like all rivers, experiences constant changes in flow based upon snow pack or the lack of snow pack. Sometimes the river can be as close as 100 feet from the house and other times, during drought periods, can be 500 feet from the house. At 500 feet from the house it usually takes about 60 seconds to walk to the water. * Maximum occupancy: four * No smoking

Rental Policies

Maximum occupancy: 5 ~No smoking ~Pets OK (fee applies) RESERVATION, PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY 1. Rates given are per night, based upon a 2 night minimum visit/3 night minimum during Holidays and Festivals, and do not include sales tax and hotel/motel tax. 2. Full payment (rent, room tax, security deposit) is due 30 days prior to the beginning of your stay. This date is also the cancellation date. Your credit card will be charged for full amount due if payment or cancellation notice is not received by 30 days prior to your arrival. 3. Upon booking, you will receive an order confirmation. Directions and key pick-up information will be mailed/e-mailed at final billing (see original confirmation for time period). 4. Cancellations or changes made prior to the cancellation deadline will not be charged a cancellation fee. 5. Cancellations or changes made after the cancellation deadline forfeit the full amount paid. 6. Current VISA or MasterCard and/or security deposit of $250 will be retained until after departure and may be used to cover the costs of: damages, replacement of missing items, cleaning beyond normal expectations or any other expenses incurred by the renter. 7. Check-in is no earlier than 3:00 p.m. and check-out is by 11:00 a.m. Late check outs will be charged for an additional night. 8. Any long distance phone calls must be made collect or with a calling card or credit card. 9. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. You will be charged for shipping plus a minimum $15 handling fee for any items left behind that you request us to return. 10. You will be charged a minimum of $25 for any keys not returned upon departure. 11. All rentals are non-smoking. People in your group who wish to smoke, may do so outside only. 12. Pets are allowed at this cabin. A pet fee applies of $10 per night per pet. A $50 per day penalty will be applied for all NON-AUTHORIZED pets. POLICIES AND RATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE AND DURING HOLIDAYS AND QUIET-SEASON PERIODS.
