This popular property overlooks downtown Santa Barbara and its majestic mountains on one side and the ocean on the other.

The 2 bedroom home is walking distance to the Mesa Village Center; a lovely 12 minute walk downhill - the perfect spot for grabbing organic fruits and veggies, or a bite to eat at one of several restaurants or shopping at Albertson's or Lazy Acres.

The living room with flat screen TV boasts views of the mountains and sits just above other properties on the street making it private and cozy.

Two large bedrooms with vaulted ceilings provide comfortable amenities. Bedroom one, with queen bed, opens onto the patio and has views of the mountains and partial ocean view. Bedroom two has its own half bath, queen bed and small twin foam bed, good for small adult, teenager or child.

Two parks are nearby; A five minute walk to Hilda Ray Park, perfect for kids 6 and under. Escondido Park, complete with play structure, swings, and basketball court, is a 12 minute walk and good for kids of all ages. A public bus stop is also available, one block from the home.

"We stayed in this cozy cottage for a long weekend and loved it. It was perfect for our family of four. The photos don't do it justice - it's very cute, and very clean. The rooms were nicely decorated, and there were plenty of towels, extra blankets and pillows as well as kitchen utensils/plates, etc. We had a lot of fun with the ping-pong table, and enjoyed a couple of relaxing evenings barbecuing and enjoying the city view. As an extra bonus, the house is close to everything. Since it's at the top of the hill, if you turn left you're on State Street in minutes - if you turn right, you're at the beach in minutes.
