Description of the Property

This clean well kept one story house on the canal in Rockport is a wonderful home away from home for the winter and summer visitor to the Texas coast. Plug in your RV (30/50 amp hookup) and stay a couple of days. The house is over 2000 square feet in the Palm Harbor subdivision of Rockport. There are no stairs or steps to climb, so it very easy to move in and out.

Of course we have central air and heat, and all the bedrooms have ceiling fans and smoke detectors. The master suite has a king-sized pillow top bed, exercise bike, 42" Plasma TV, Dvd/vcr and a small personal refrigerator. A second bedroom also has an extra comfy pillow top king-sized bed and a 32" Flat Screen LCD Tv/dvd. There is a cozy pillow top queen bed in another room with a TV and DVD player. The fourth room has very comfortable set of twins, a roll out bed and includes Tv/dvd with games to entertain the young ones. Housekeeping is available, all maintenance is taken care of.

For your entertainment cable TV, DVD, Nintendo Gamecube as well as wireless/wired high speed internet and over 70 DVD movies are provided . Enjoy our stand-up arcade, DVD games or board games if you get bored! We even have a poker table, cards and chips.

We have a fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, dishwasher, small appliances and plenty of plates and utensils for the cook. Enjoy your catch in our full dining room with wine bar, in the breakfast nook or cook it up outside in the BBQ pit and eat at the picnic table while watching the cranes, herons and terns that visit your back yard. We even include trash bags, laundry detergent and bleach, hand and bath soap and dishwashing liquids. We also have fishing poles and life preservers. There are dead bolt locks and top slide locks on every door to protect the young ones around the water.

We have provided room to work on your equipment, store your poles and clean your fish. Store your catch in the outdoor chest freezer. Plenty of room in the front drive to park and turn a trailered boat. Ice and bait is across the street public boat launches are nearby. You are just down the road from some fine seafood places and historic downtown Rockport.

Rockport Beach Park is 5.2 miles away. This park features a mile of pampered beach, 63 covered picnic cabanas and grills, 2 volleyball courts, 4 boat ramps, an 800 foot fishing pier and a bird sancuary with observation deck and a paved walking trail.
