This cabin in the Pocono Mountains, PA has been in the processes of being carefully created for 3 years, and we are proud to offer this beautiful- ready to rent -cabin to you for your enjoyment. Cabin #1 was designed and completely rebuilt by us, the owners! Come and enjoy experiencing this logged vacation cabin in it's natural surrounds, first hand while being surrounded by endless acres of wilderness. The cabin boarders a hemlock forest with the sound and sight of a rolling stream with small waterfalls and walking trails. As you drive towards the cabin, you will be welcomed by mountains, trees, fields, streams, deer, turkeys, and boundless views of nature that will make you feel like you are staying at a State Park. This entire cabin has log siding on the outside and Rough Cut Pine wood in the inside. The front porch has posts used from the trunks of hemlock trees found and picked from the property. The property is lined with paths made out of endless rows of fieldstone taken from the earth of the premises. Enjoy this vacation getaway with a campfire while you pick a seat or couch made out of stones that are so large that you can lie down and relax on them. As you enter this beautiful vacation cabin that was originally build from the surrounding trees in the 1940s, you will be able to keep enjoying the woods and wilderness from the view of 12 large crank open windows. Have a seat at the kitchen breakfast nook, because you will have a great chance of seeing turkeys, which arrive daily and usually with their babies. In the woods, we placed a feeder filled with corn, so this enables you to watch the deer and of course the squirrels feed on the corn and entertain you. When nighttime arrives there is a spotlight out in the woods that shines down on the feeder. This spotlight get turned on and off just by a switch inside the cabin. This is so exiting to still watch the deer and the wildlife in its natural habitat at night time! Bedroom has King Size bed and full size bed.

Walk down into the sunk- in - living room, and still have a great view of the outside. Relax on the full size futon bed or the two comfortable lazy-boy-reclining chairs, while you watch TV, DVD, VHS Movies, Play Station 2 or sing to talking deer karaoke! Perhaps it is a little chilly, and you would like to start a fire in the real fireplace with plenty of firewood provided for your entire stay! Walk up one step to the fully equipped kitchen that has a stove, microwave, toaster oven, cooking grill, coffee pot, and refrigerator that is stocked with beautiful dishes in carefully hand crafted cabinets. The kitchen bar top is hand built with real Cherry wood and is lined with fieldstone all in the front. It can be used to enjoy your meals or an alcoholic beverage and is stocked with plenty of glasses for your favorite drinks. In the stone is built round holes to place bottles of beverages, which will get chilled by a small hole that allows cold air from the cellar to chill the bottles. Have a seat at the bar on the neatest bar stools around made out of real trees. So sit, chat, drink, eat, and be merry! Next to the kitchen is a full bathroom. Nice size- one-piece fiberglass- shower/tub, matching- wood cabinets and sink, inside bathroom plumbing, and plenty of storage space to put your personal belongings. The bathroom is decorated with bear bathroom carpets and bear scenes. Upstairs in this rustic cabin is a large bedroom that has 3 beds. Enjoy 2 queen size beds and 1 full with hand quilted country bed comforters and shams with a display of scenes of nature. Tuck your clothing away too, with matching dressers that are made out of real wood. Step out side on to the 2nd story balcony, grab a seat to listen and watch the rolling stream. Take a look around and enjoy the nature, animals, and beautiful view of the Hemlock forest all from a front row seat on a hand built open- air deck. Continue down onto wooden steps to relax in a huge Jacuzzi that is big enough to be a pool. Sit and enjoy the rumbling warm water and massages from the many jets in this 6 person Jacuzzi with 5 sit downs and one lay down. All while you are a succumbed by nature all around you.

Activities and Attractions

There is Snow Skiing, Snow Boarding or Tubing at Blue Mountain Ski resort, just 5 miles away from cabin. Camel Beach or Dorney Park and Wild Water Kingdom for summertime fun. If you want entertainment, visit the town of Jim Thorpe, which is set back into the 1800's, or visit Country Junction, the largest General store. We recommend that you make reservations at Penn's Peak for concerts and entertainment shows, and come see the races at the Pocono Raceway, Bull Madness Rodeos all this entertainment is just 20-25 minutes away.

We are located within as few miles from many State Parks, like Beltzville State Park, Hickory Run State Park (hiking, fishing, swimming, boating, water falls and much more).

For serious hikers there are Nature trails at Appalachian Trail just 7 min. away, or for fun and adventure, start hiking right out the back yard of Cabin #2.

Some of the best county fairs in PA are within a few miles of our cabins. West End, Carbon County, The Great Allentown Fair just to name a few for rides, food, demo derby's, truck / tractor pulls or just good old fashion fun. Can't forget Misikfest for top stars, live concerts, food ect.

Take a scenic drive to visit farms, barns, covered bridges, one room school buildings, and much more! Or just relax at the cabin with a cozy, warm fire at the fire place, jump into the hot or cold Jacuzzi, or roast some marshmallows on the camp fire. Enjoy the Mountain View, while relaxing out on the multi-level deck. Take a short walk to the private Lake that is just down the hill and with each stay you will receive a free row boat rental for the lake. Lake is open June through October, but can be enjoyed much longer by sitting on the benches to relax. So, getaway in the Foot hills of the Pocono Mountains, PA., and enjoy the lake, beach, mountains and Country area!

Rental Policies

Must be 23 yrs old to rent this property and 25 years on Holidays. $200.00 deposit by any major credit card is needed to hold your reservation. It will become part of your balance and will be deducted from the balance owed. If you made your reservation less then 40 days before your arrival, then no $200.00 deposit is needed to hold your reservation, because full payment is due. Cancellation Policies Full Payment is due 40 days before you arrive 1.) If you cancel after making your reservation on a day that would occur 41 days or more before you arrive, there is a taxable $100.00 service fee deducted from your $200.00 deposit. 2.) If you cancel within 40 days of your arrival, there is a taxable $150.00 service fee 3.) If you cancel within 39 days to 30 days before your arrival date, there is $200 withheld from the total amount paid out for your reservation. All charges are taxable and remaining balance will be refunded to you by a Cabins-4-Rent check. 4.) If you cancel within 29 days to 19 days before your arrival date, we will refund ½ of the amount paid out for your reservation. 5.) If you cancel within 18 days or less of your reservation, we will refund you 1/3 of the total amount paid out with a Cabins-4-Rent check. 6.) Call for cancellation to be recorded and for confirmation number to be given to you. If you do not call and just not show up, than there is no refund. A confirmation number is needed for your cancellation. 7.) All refunds are credited back to your credit card or by a Cabins-4-Rent check, depending upon how you paid your balance. Any refund due out of any payments will be reimbursed with in 30 days of your cancellation. For the first time customers, the deposit must be put on a credit card; therefore if you cancel there is $30.00 taxable charge added on top of the cancellation fees mentioned above. This charge occurs because our credit card carrier charges us for making your transaction and crediting your account. Receiving your refund could take up to 1 month to be returned from the date of your cancellation. If you cancel before you return this signed sheet to cabins-4-Rent or before you even get a chance to receive it in the mail from Cabins-4-Rent, all cancellation Policies are still enforced immediately after you make a deposit to hold a cabin for your reservation. The deposit is not an extra fee. It will become part of your balance, and will be deducted from the balance owed. If you made your reservation less then 40 days before your arrival, than no deposit is needed to hold your reservation, because full payment is due. However, the cancellation charges explained above are the same for balances paid in full. 8.) If you need to cancel and would like to reschedule, there is no cancellation fee if you re-schedule within one month of your original reservation date. However, if you cancel that reservation then the original reservation cancellation policy will be honored, which is policy #5. 9.) There is no cancellation fee if you need to cancel your reservation and re-schedule at another time as long as you cancel your original reservation no less than 30 days before your original reservation and the new reservation is re-scheduled within 1 month of your original reservation. All vacations reserved are held and honored for you and your party. When a cancellation occurs, we are in for a much greater financial loss than what we keep from your payments, when we cannot fill the reservation that was held and honored for you. Please take your reservation seriously, because we reserve that for our valuable customers, you!
