#9 Cougar Point - Sea Marsh Drive

Our Kiawah Island home sits on a large oak wooded lot overlooking the #9 Cougar Point green, a 4.5 star golf course, and short walk from Kiawah's 7 mile beach. The home is located on Sea Marsh Drive providing a central location to the beach, Night Heron Park, the Straw Market, Freshfields & the golf courses of Kiawah Island (Turtle Point, Osprey Point, & The Ocean Course). The home is also situated between East & West Beach tennis courts. Kiawah Island has been rated as the #1 tennis resort. The #9 Cougar Point home was completely remodeled in 2006. The home has hardwood floors throughout, antique linen cabinetry with blue pearl granite counter-tops, and ceramic accented oversized bathrooms. The first floor consists of a family suite (two bedrooms & bath), living & dining room, kitchen, & laundry room. The second floor has two additional bedrooms (guest & master suites).

The family suite is located behind french doors providing two private bedrooms connected by a full bathroom ideal for young families. The bathroom has a large 5' walk-in shower with dual / jetted shower assemblies. The family suite has two bedrooms with 2 twin beds and a queen bed, respectively. The guest suite is situated upstairs at the end of a foot-bridge overlooking the first floor. The private guest suite is perfect for those family members looking for a little privacy. The suite has a queen size bed and a private bath with a walk-in shower with bench seat and jetted / massage shower assembly. The master bedroom is situated at the opposite end of the bridge and has a king size bed, jacuzzi tub, walk-in closet and dressing area, and a shower room with an oversized walk-in shower with a jetted / massage shower assembly. An upper level deck extends from the master bedroom providing a beautiful view of the #8 Cougar Point green & fairway and a great opportunity for a relaxing romantic evening enjoying the Kiawah wildlife & scenery.

The first floor has an open floor plan ideal for entertaining family & friends. The kitchen has a large rectangular island with an elevated surface perfect for eating and conversation. The blue pearl countertops are expertly matched with stainless steel appliances and pearl linen cabinets. The appliances consist of a dishwasher, microwave, 21 cubic feet refrigerator (water & ice maker) and a smooth top electric range. The laundry room proceeds from the kitchen to the 1 car garage. The location of the laundry room permits family members to unload wet clothes & towels after a long day at the beach. The garage provides ample room for storage of bikes & beach toys & has a secondary refrigerator ideal for additional drinks and food. A dining area sits adjacent to the kitchen providing seating for six. A bar prep area is located near the dining area and has a wine chiller & sink for evening entertainment. The living room has a sofa, loveseat and recliner situated around an electric fireplace and plasma TV. A secondary table & chairs adjoins the living area to provide an ideal spot for card and board games. A screened porch proceeds from the living room through sliding glass doors. Our home has 3 oversized showers with jetted / massage shower assemblies. In addition, an outdoor shower is available for removal of sand after a long day at the beach. Three adult bikes are available for your use along with two children bikes (18" & 20"). Two plasma TV's (living room & master bedroom) & three DVD players are available for movie and general televsion viewing. In addition, two additional televisions are located in the family & guest suites, respectively.

Our home has immediate access to Kiawah Islands 4+ star rated golf courses, Cougar Point, Turtle Point, Osprey Point, & the Ocean Course. In addiition, Kiawah island is rated the #1 resort for tennis and our home is centrally located between the East & West Beach tennis centers. The mode of travel while on the island is by bikes and several paved bike trails permit the visitor to move about the island while viewing the natural wildlife and scenery. Nearby attractions include and are not limited too: Charleston Aquarium, Fort Sumter, & IMAX theater. Nearby Charleston has outanding restaurants & sporting events such as the Charleston Riverdogs (minor leage baseball), & Charleston Battery (soccer) teams
