Description of the Property
The best feature of our cozy cottage in Rainbow Bay on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas is the incredible panoramic views from anywhere inside or outside of both the Caribbean and the Atlantic, which are very different from each other. Because we are the second street back from each sea, you can sit on the front porch with your coffee and watch the sun come up in the morning and sit on the back porch with a drink and watch it set in the evening. The cruise ships are a beautiful site to behold lit up in all their glory on the Atlantic at night. Wake up to the sight of the sea without having to lift your head off of the pillow.
There is a bedroom, full bath and walk in closet on each end of the house offering privacy if sharing the cottage and the cost with friends. It is perfect for families and as a romantic getaway for couples due to it's seclusion and quiet location. There is a queen sized sofa bed in the living room and a full size aero bed so you can sleep on the porch to get even closer to the sound of the surf and the warm cross breezes. Due to it's close proximity to the 2 seas, the cross breezes and the ceiling fans in each room keep the cottage cool but there are also AC units in each bedroom for use in the summer. A flat screen tv in the living room with 200 channel satellite service and an upconvert hd dvd player, and a small tv in the master bedrooom with a dvd player make it even more enjoyable.
The island decor, furnishings and thatched bamboo matting on the ceilings and walls make your island vacation complete. The full kitchen has a wide variety of small appliances to fulfill your cooking requirements and a bbq grill is provided for cooking outside. It is one of the few rentals with a laundry room so you can pack light and not have to wash clothes after you get home.
We provide 2 new sea kayaks, 2 21-speed bicycles, snorkel gear, floats, fising rod, beach chairs/towels, soaps/shampoos, everything you may need during your stay. There is an insulated backpack, ice blocks, can coolers so you can take a picnic lunch with you when you are out and about.
It's a short walk to beaches on both seas and since the cottage is centrallly located it is a short drive to a multitude of beautiful, often totally secluded, beaches each with their own very unique features.
We'll be glad to answer any questions you have as well as to book rental car, fishing excursions etc. If you want to get away from it all Eleuthera is the place to go. You'll want to return for the natural beauty of the land, seas, and the warm friendly people. It's the perfect place to restore your spirit and soothe your soul.

We provide 2 NEW SEA KAYAKS, 2 21-speed bicycles, snorkel gear, beach towels and chairs, floats, rings, fishing pole, insulated pack with ice blocks. An outside shower is great for a quick rinse of yourself or your gear when coming back from excursions. We also have town water so water useage is unliimited unlike most island homes which collect rainwater into a cistern tank. The cottage includes all bedding, linens, pots/pans, etc. We have a full galley stye kitchen with separate dining area and many small appliances including a portable oven for making muffins for breakfast out on the porch in order to avoid using the stove oven on summer days. Bring your coffee beans and grind them fresh in our coffee grinder. We also have a toaster oven with rotisserie to do small roaster chickens or other roast meat. We offer many extras to make your life a lot simpler and your luggage a lot lighter so that all you have to think about is which beach next. A luggage scale is provided to check luggage weight prior to departure. We want you to enjoy our little piece of paradise as much as we do. Pack n Play crib available for use.

Rental Rate Notes
$50 extra per person/per week for 5 or 6 persons Additional $60 cash cleaning fee is to be left for cleaning lady at departure. $350 security deposit. Additional nights available at $130 per night during peak season and $120 extra per night during non peak. Ask about our discounted rates for extra weeks or a full month as well as discounts for returning guests and referrals. Additional charge for pets.Rental Policies
Full payment required by 30 days prior to arrival date. $30 fee for bad checks. We accept credit cards (5% fee for each transaction), personal checks, bank checks, wire transfers ($25 fee)
Security deposit of $500 includes use of cell phone- deposit returned 7-10 days after renting if all is well.
No refund be given for cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival date.
