Southwest Harbor, a traditional New England fishing village, and Northeast Harbor, where you will find unique galleries and shops as well as a lively marina, are both just a 15-20 minute drive from Norway House.
This owner built post and beam home is unique from any other. The home was built in the Shaker tradition from wood that was harvested from the land it sits on, with hand cut joinery and pegs. There is also a custom formed Pine countertop that was made from a 5-ft diameter tree that blew down in Northern Maine. The property boasts an extra large deck overlooking a beautifully landscaped yard for outside entertaining. After a long day of hiking or biking, you will rejoice in the double sized spa tub in the master bath.

Norway House is perfect for entertaining. The kitchen (where everybody hangs out) has a large breakfast bar and is open to the living and dining areas. It is also equiped with an an extra large, armoire style refrigerator and all stainless appliances. There is plenty of room on the 28' x 12' deck for large family cook-outs as well.

Acadia National Park and Cadillac Mountain are a quick 5 miles from Norway House. Access to the carriage roads is just three miles up the road at Eagle Lake, the most popular entry point into Acadia for biking and hiking.

Rental Rate Notes
Rates are subject to 7% Maine Lodging tax.Rental Policies
Rental weeks are Saturday to Saturday. Check in time is 3 p.m. Check out time is 10 a.m.
Security deposit is $500. Fifty percent of the total amount due is required at reservation. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. Security deposits will be refunded upon satisfactory inspection by the owner or manager, within 30 days of departure.
Reservation deposits are gladly refunded if the week is booked by another party.
