Description of the Property
The Shores Beach Haven is a Luxury home with upscale furnishings throughout the house as well as lots of space to relax and enjoy your surroundings. From the lovingly restored hard wood floors to the bubbling hot Jacuzzi in the private back yard, to the high thread count linens in the bedrooms and bathrooms, this house does not miss a step. This home is also located in the heart of La Jolla Shores - the ideal location for your vacation. Even though this home is in the middle of a residential neighborhood, the beach is just 3 short blocks away, the closest grocery store and restaurants are only one block away and Sea World is less than a 15 minute drive.
This home has 3 bedrooms, with sleeping space for 2 - 8 people. The master bedroom is located in it's own private wing of the house and has a luxurious california king size bed with four poster bed frame, walk in closet, 27 inch television with full cable channels. The large master bathroom had dual sinks, a large bathtub and specialty tile flooring. The masterbedroom also has direct access to the back yard and Jacuzzi. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, large closet space, television with full cable channels and french doors that open up to the back yard area and the warm morning sun. The third bedroom has two twin beds and is across the hall from the second bedroom and bathroom. All linens (sheets, pillows, blankets, bath towels, beach towels) are provided.
The living room is fully equipped with a large comfortable couch and additional seating. The large screen television and dvd player with full surround audio visual system for late nights watching your favorite movies. There is also a working fireplace for cozy nights by the fire.
There is an additional family room off of the kitchen area with another fireplace, large couch and table. This area is perfect for relaxing with a book or fun game while the movie is on in the other room. The soft comfortable couch in this extra living room folds out into a full size bed to create additional sleeping space for any extra guests.
The spacious kitchen has full size range and oven, side by side refrigerator and freezer with icemaker, dishwasher, trash compactor, and mounted microwave. The custom painted cabinets and counter tops create more room than you will know what to do with while preparing a meal for your entire family. This home comes complete with all dishes, glassware, utensils, as well as all kitchen utensils and small appliances necessary to prepare any meal. There is also a dining area with beautiful table and chairs that provide seating for at least 8.
The private back yard includes a great wood deck with lots of room for sun bathing. This area also includes two outdoor dining areas with seating for 8, a gourmet gas BBQ grill, outdoor hot and cold water shower, and sunken, warm and bubbly Jacuzzi. There is also a large, private grassy area - perfect for a game of afternoon catch or kickball.
In addition, you can order food and dairy products to be delivered to the home prior to your arrival. Your order will be charged to your credit card. Rental Policies
The policies listed below are a general overview of our policies. Some homes have more detailed policies. Please refer to your rental contract for specific policies relating to your reservation. Pets: Pets of any kind are NOT Allowed. No animals of any kind are allowed in house or on surrounding property; this includes “visiting” or “stray” animals. If this rule is broken, Lessee’s security deposit will be used to resolve the odor and/or flea problems and for any costs incurred to relocate guests checking in after Lessee’s departure. Smoking: Smoking of any kind is not permitted inside the home. Cleaning: Each property will be inspected, sanitized and cleaned after each guests's departure. The cleaning staff will arrive promptly at check out time on the day of departure. Often there are guests arriving the same day and the cleaning staff has only has a short timeframe to clean. The rental fee each guest pays provides for normal cleaning so that every guest can enjoy their vacation up to the last moment. Guests are required to leave the property in the same general condition that it is received. If additional cleaning is required, appropriate charges will be deducted from guest’s security deposit.
Reservations: To reserve your dates, a deposit of 50% of the total rent is required. This deposit may be secured by providing a check, money order, Visa or MasterCard. Please note that dates cannot be guaranteed until your deposit is received. The remaining rent, plus tax, any fees and security deposit will be due 15 days prior to your arrival date.
Cancellations: Should either party wish to cancel a reservation, notice of cancellation must be sent via certified mail and received more than 60 days prior to arrival date. If guest's cancellation notice is received more than 60 days in advance of arrival date, we will refund all of the reservation deposit (minus a 3% credit card handling fee is a credit card was used to secure payment). If cancellation notice is received less than 60 days in advance of arrival date and the property is re-rented at the same rate to another party, we will refund all of the reservation deposit except a $300 cancellation fee. If the property is not re-rented, we will retain the entire reservation deposit. It is unlikely, however, if we must cancel your reservation, notice shall be given a minimum of 60 days prior to arrival date and all monies received will be refunded to you within 3 business days of cancellation notice.
