Description of the Property
Relax and enjoy the expansive view of Lake Havasu at sunset as you drift peacefully on the private pool. You'll be greeted by a shady, traditional, enclosed Spanish "patio" with a bubbling fountain as you walk through the front gate.
We just completed our remodeling project and brand new southwestern decorating. Our house has a quaint "beehive" fireplace in the living room, and the kitchen and both baths are decorated with authentic talavera tile. We spared no expense on the most important part of your stay - the beds. You'll sleep comfortably in every bedroom (including the twin beds). Two of our three bedrooms have king beds, the other has a pair of twin beds.
Lake View at Sunset is located on the prestigious "lake side" of Highway 95, close to the lake. In fact, from our front door you can easily walk to Mesquite natural area and fish off the dock or amble along the shore and enjoy a breakfast picnic. Windsor boat slip and the state park are less than a mile from our house. There's plenty of room to park your boat or RV next to the garage under the covered carport.
The home is spacious (over 1700 square feet) and architecturally a true Santa Fe design. The back patio wraps around the south and west side of the home and a separate private patio is just off the living room and 2nd bedroom on the north side of the house.
Our landscaping features more varieties of cactus than you can imagine including one little furry fellow in the front yard that looks cuddly but like all cactus will fill you with quills if you touch him. Mexican palms, desert varieties of shrubs and blooming bushes frame the lake view.
You can be at the London Bridge and a number of public golf courses in a few minutes, but we're located in a quiet neighborhood to ensure a restful stay for you and your family. There's a great Mexican restaurant, a family restaurant, a good little Chinese restaurant as well as grocery and department store shopping, all less than a mile away.

"Lake View at Sunset" has been completely remodeled, repainted, and carpeted. We've added rustic knotty alder woodwork, including the double doors between the living room and king bedroom. The pool and in-ground heated spa sport new tile and plaster.
This is our own vacation home so we furnished the house like our personal home. We take great pride and fun in furnishing southwestern style. We especially like living outdoors while we're in Havasu, so you'll find the outdoors decorated as tastefully and completely as the indoors.
The private pool, walled yard, and in-ground heated spa provide you with a relaxing retreat. We keep a supply of inflatables for use on the pool, since floating on the pool is our own favorite form of relaxation in Lake Havasu. We love sitting on the patio in the evening and watching the sun set over Lake Havasu, or walking to the shore and watching the fishermen and listening to the birdsong.
The enclosed traditional Spanish patio at the entrance of the house includes a bubbling fountain, statuary, pottery, and a cozy corner bench for reading and sipping your morning coffee.
You'll enjoy the art and other southwest decor including buckskin, Mexican pottery, Mexican mirrors, and southwest crafts. We've put together a fine collection of talavera pottery to go along with the many tile features of the home. We even found an old Mexican saddle and a bull skull that authenticate the southwestern ambience.
The house is located on the desirable "lake side" of Highway 95 on a bluff less than half a mile from the shore. The lake view is panoramic (almost 180 degrees). The neighborhood is upscale and quiet, a comfortable distance from busy streets and tourist hubbub. Still we're only minutes away from London Bridge, the main attractions and wonderful public golf courses.
The master bedroom includes a walk-in closet and private bath. We love the walk-in tile shower in the master bath, and the sliding door from the master bath to the patio. You don't have to track through the house to get to a bathroom from the pool.
The kitchen has tile countertops, new appliances, and is completely outfitted including a well-stocked spice rack. and our favorite cookbooks. If you're staying a while, minimize your trips to the grocery by filling the pantry with your favorite foods.
Other amenities include high speed cable and wireless Internet connections, HD TV in the living room and cable TV in each of the bedrooms.

Rental Rate Notes
Pets by permission only, ask for details. No smoking in the house. If you choose to smoke outdoors, select a place away from the house and close doors and windows. An additional $10/person for groups over 4 adults. No more than 6 adults are allowed. This is not a "party" house. We appreciate responsible adult renters who respect that this is our home and will care for it like their own, and consider those who will follow them and our neighbors.Rental Policies
Deposit: $550. Renters must be at least 25 years of age or children accompanied by parents. Full payment 30 days prior to rental start date. Money order, cashiers check, Paypal and wire transfers accepted. The deposit will be refunded 30 days after departure less any damages or shortages. $100 cleaning fee. Check-In 4:00 p.m.,check out 10:00a.m. No daily rentals. No smoking in the house. Smokng is permitted on the back yard only. A separate damage agreement must be signed by anyone allowed to bring pets. Noise or nuisance calls by neighbors or police will result in eviction and/or forfeiture of all deposits and rent.
Deposit $550 for 4 persons. $50 extra for each additional person. All damages and/or missing items are the responsibility of the renter/leasee and will be charged at replacement value. Departure cleaning fee of $100. Replace Lost Key Fee: $200.00 or actual Locksmith charges, whichever is greater. Deposit will be cheerfully returned within 30 days of departure less any damages or shortages.
No refunds within 30 days of arrival. Monthly renters must cancel at least 60 days in advance of planned arrival. For those not eligible for a refund, we will consider rebooking a later stay if our calandar permits. Deposits do not apply towards rent. The deposit reserves your dates until you arrive and then converts to a damage deposit upon your arrival.
