The Desert Breeze Park Railroad and Lake is right next to the development and offers an urban fishing lake, tennis courts, children's playground equipment and most importantly, a 16" gauge miniature train within a short walking distance. The approximately 7 minute train ride covers 5/8 of a mile and features some attractive scenery for a minimal passenger fare.
Spring training camp and other sports venues are located just 5 miles away in Tempe and Mesa and the 101 freeway takes you north to Scottsdale, just 20 minutes away. Continue south on US 10 to Tucson and visit many of the parks and mountain ranges along the way. The Lost Dutchman State Park in the Superstition Mountains (at 2,000 ft. elevation), Salt River and Lake Saguaro Recreation Area are just about 45 minutes drive to the east. South Mountain is also just to the west of the Chandler area.
For local attractions, Chandler has the Center for the Arts, a world-class facility located in its historic district which showcases talents from the opera, jazz musicians, plays and well known headliners. The kids will want to go to Hamilton Aquatics Center, named the "2001 Outstanding Facility" by Arizona Parks and Recreation, which has a zero depth play pool, Current River, two water slides and an 8-lane competition pool. There are hiking trails, wildlife parks, casinos, numerous golf courses, antique shops and beautiful scenic desert attractions, as well as Old Town Scottsdale and many nightclubs and shopping areas located just minutes away.

Rental Policies
Reservations: Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of the required payment. Reservations made within 45 days of arrival require payment of rent and deposits in full within five (5) days of making the reservation. All advance reservations require payment of 1/3 of the first month's rent charge within five (5) days of making the reservation. The remainder of rent and deposits must be paid not later than 45 days prior to arrival. Telephones: Telephone service is provided. Telephone service allows unlimited local calls but may require a calling card to place long distance calls. Any long distance charges will be deducted from deposit. It is highly recommended to place all long distance calls from your cell phone. Cable & Internet: Basic cable TV service is included. Premium chanels and Wireless Broadband Internet service are available for an additional fee.
Payments: Payments may be made by cashiers check, or money order. We can also take payment via PayPal. Cancellation Policy: 0-45 days prior to reservation date: no refund unless unit can be rebooked. Security Deposit: All rentals require a security deposit. The minimum deposit is $500.00 but may be made higher due to special circumstances. The security deposit must be paid together with the payment of the remaining rental payment not later than 45 days before arrival date.
