Conveniently located near 405 Freeway which takes you to many Southern CA attractions: South to Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Legoland, Newport Pier, Balboa, Laguna Beach, Dana Point and north to Los Angeles, Hollywood, Universal Studios, Beverly Hills, Long Beach Aquarium and Malibu.
A short drive takes you to Disneyland & Orange County's best beaches. Huntington Beach was recently named as one of the top five destinations for teenagers and their parents. It is a favorite place for kids to not only eat and shop, but participate in many recreational sports. With over 50 surfing competitions throughout the year, as well, Huntington Beach is know as "Surf City, USA" with great waves all year round.
FISHING - You don't need a license to fish on California piers. You do need a California Fishing License elsewhere, however. Other nearby piers are Newport Beach and Seal Beach.
BONFIRES ON THE BEACH (daily) Temps. at the beach change very little from season to season. On most evenings in Huntington Beach, California, you can smell the wood burning from campfires at Huntington's three beaches, Huntington City Beach, Bolsa Chica State Beach and Huntington State Beach.
FREE CONCERTS ON THE BEACH (August) Live, free concerts on the beach throughout August. Pier Plaza Pacific Coast Highway & Main St. Concerts include outdoor cement seating and grass lawn with full exposure to the sun and pier. Bring blankets and chairs if you like. All Concerts Are FREE!
FARMER'S MARKET (weekly) Farmer's Market includes flowers, fruit, breads, nuts and specialty foods are sold fresh to the consumer.
