That wonderful private yard you see in our picture is great for family and friend get togethers. Our clients love it here.

This is a Deluxe home for 12 on a 8,000sq ft lot just 2 mi to the strip.

2 main advantages to our home: This home is walking distance to the Monorail (that modern train that takes you to many hotels on the Strip) and to the Convention Center.

Also, another one of the great advantages of this home is that it has 3 large bedrooms with two beds per bedroom (2 Kings, 2 queens, 2 fulls!) plus dressers, etc. And it has 3 sleeper sofas, two located in the living room and one located in the game room, so you can actually sleep many guests in this house and still pay much less than you would for a five bedroom at a weekly rate!

Transportation: We recommend to groups with an adventerous spirit and a tighter budget to walk during daytime (in the warmer months) down Desert Inn Road (very close to our home) to the closest monorail stop, which takes you all over the Strip, located right by the Convention Center. The Convention Center is less than a mile to our home. We see Convention Center attendees walking down Desert Inn Road during the week.

We recommend taking a taxi at night to return to the home, which we have been told averages around $10 from the closest hotels to our property. In fact, many groups staying at our home rely only on taxis.

Detailed Info: Families visiting the strip, groups and business people will find this beautiful, large (2,300 sq. ft) home near the strip to be a true jewel. It's 2 miles from the Strip (5 minutes). The home is also walking distance from the second largest mall in Las Vegas, which includes a food court and many department stores (our guests constantly praise this benefit). This elegant property, opens with a rose garden and iron gates. Inside find 24" travertine stone floors & French doors.

1.-Lap POOL -Outside find a 35 x 14 foot pool, which is 8 feet deep, perfect for lap swimming or family entertainment. The pool can be heated all year round because it uses a gas heater.

-The pool deck area is spacious and comfortable for gatherings, barbecues, and lounging. You will feel like a king or queen tanning under the sun and splashing yourself with water.

-Patio Furniture: Plus the deck is furnished with a large sofa swing for three, gas grill, lounge chairs and garden chairs. There are patio tables for twelve and small grass area for kids to play in and a weight bench.

-Privacy: The pool area is surrounded by 8 foot walls and the neighbors houses are all one story so the backyard is completely private, which is very rare to find in Las Vegas. There are beautiful rose bushes and a palm tree. - -Game Room- Billiard -The game room features a new Black Pearl contemporary pool table with ball return.

-Travertine: You will also enjoy the 24x24" travertine stone flooring (like marble) throughout the home.

-During your stay you and your friends can enjoy our 42" LCD HDTV (with DVD) in the living room. Those in the master bedroom can enjoy the 36" LCD HDTV (with DVD) as well. The 3rd bedroom has a 20" LCD TV (with Dvd). The 2nd bedroom by the pool has a 28" screen (with Dvd). Even the Game Room has a TV. All TVs in the home have cable and HBO.

-Stereo: There is a modern stereo system with CD changer and tuner with powerful, large JBL speakers. An MP3 player can be easily plugged in.

-We also provide 100% cotton towels and linens.

-And there are 2 beautiful fireplaces (decorational only).

-Kitchen: Stocked for Serious Cooking: Great, fully-equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal, blender, coffe-maker, ice-maker, several sizes of stainless steel pots and pans, etc.

-Dining Room: China and Formal Seating: Fine china dining dinnerware for indoor (including wine glasses) and casual service for indor or outdoor. Formal dining room with table for 8.

- As you will see from our pictures, we have fully renovated and remodeled a sixties style home. We prefer the architectural style of this moment in time, when so much attention was paid to the styling of homes.

-Jacuzzi: The large, two-person Jacuzzi in the master bedroom has ten warm, relaxing massage jets-all under a beautiful skylight. Also you will find an adjacent shower, all wrapped in lovely travertine. Hair dryer.

-Garden - At the entrance of the house: Cozy and romantic garden with eating table for four, surrounded by a variety of rose bushes.

Safe and Classic Neighborhood: We are within the borders of Maryland Parkway (to the west), Eastern (to the east), Desert Inn (to the North), Flamingo (to the south). Our community is therefore outlined by the Boulevard Mall and the Vegas National Golf Course.

-This is the neighborhood known as Paradise Palms, one of the last large-lot home communities left nearby the strip. Most communities nearby to the strip like Paradise Palms were built in the sixties and seventies and they are of course closer to the center of the action than the many modern residences built thereafter.

-History: This unique classic pocket of houses has a history that goes way back to the very beginning of Las Vegas. Many of the homes in this neighborhood have been owned by singers, circus performers, magicians, celebrities, etc. Also in Paradise Palms, is the Las Vegas National Golf Club (our home is one minute from the club). Paradise Palms, according to the magazine Vegas Life, is 'the world's first known golf course community'.

You're always nervous making arrangements on the internet, but this property and it's owners were all they stated and more. When we first pulled up to the house, we were concerned. It looked so much smaller than the photos. Once we open the door, we were pleasantly surprised. The home was beautiful and most of all clean! The owners provided just about everything we needed for our stay except food. Peter/Lissette/Kelly were very pleasant and easy to work with. A very relaxing place to end an action packed day PK Vancouver,BC, Canada. Date Submitted: December 19, 2007 Date of Stay: October 2007 I like the convenience of the location a lot, the house close to the Convention Center, the Strip (and Starbucks) in an area that felt safe to stay in.

The Mall and Grocery store are a short drive away, so it was easy to get the all things we needed to stock the kitchen. I also liked that if people in our group wanted to do some shopping on their own it was really easy for them to navigate the few blocks to the mall. (We had 6 Independent Adults in our group).

There is plenty of parking at the house and I liked that the house had a lock on the front door with a number code, instead of a key lock. This meant that everyone in our group could come and go as they needed to and we didn't have to worry about who had (or didn't have) the key.

The house had very clean bathrooms and the beds had comfortable bedding. I enjoyed having a private pool and we used both the outside pool and the indoor pool table. We ran out of time and didn't get to use the BBQ (next year)!!

The pictures for this property are very honest and not embellished. I liked what I saw in the pictures and was even more impressed when I saw the house in person. The house is a very relaxing place to end another action packed day in Vegas.

I have booked the house again for next year and look forward to making this the place I stay when I come to Vegas for my annual corporate events. The owners are really nice people and very easy to deal with.
