Sote Villa is an ideal home for those who are seeking a quiet and peaceful residence within close proximity to all that Chiangmai has to offer. Situated on a 2000 (sqr. Metre) piece of land at the foot of the beautiful Doi Suthep Mountain, Sote Villa is located on the outskirts of Chiang Mai, and is only 10 minutes' drive from Chiangmai inner city and 15 minutes from Chiangmai international Airport.

Built by one of the most sort-after Thai architects, Kiti Guptavinich, Sote villa offers the atmosphere of a spacious and cool country house combined with eye catching teak construction. Outside is a delightful and quiet garden where guests can relax, read and enjoy the sunshine.

The spacious ground floor (with hand-made ceramic tiled floor) of 63 square-meters provides living and dining space with a breakfast pantry. Connected to the dinning area is a verandah to the back of the house offering a tranquil private corner underneath the shade of bamboo trees. A big Asian kitchen (4m. x 4m.) is built separately to the side of the main house, connected by the maid's quarter and a garage (for 2 cars) with an attic on top.

There is a twin bedded guest room (4m x 4m.) on the ground floor with large wardrobe and draws, and a connected bathroom.

Between the ground floor and the second floor is a 4.5m.x 5m. wooden-floored-mezzanine which provides an additional living space, ideal for personal physical exercise such as Yoga or meditation, or simply another area to relax. The area is connected with an open deck (3m. x 3m.) overlooking the garden.

There are 2 double bed rooms on the second floor. (All wooden floor on the second storey.) The first bedroom is 9m. x 7m. with connected bathroom & wardrobe and a deck of 4.5m. x 5m. Both the bed-room and the deck offer a full panoramic view of Doi Suthep Mountain.

The second bed room ( 4.5m.x 4m.) is separated by the stairway to the other side to ensure privacy and is fully furnished. The second bedroom has a separate bathroom (but shares the shower through an interesting design, allowing entrance and privacy at the same time). All the bedrooms are airconditioned.

Sote Villa is available for long term and short term rental. A live-in maid is also available.

Additional smaller house for rent

Besides the main villa, a smaller 2 storey wooden house in the same compound is also available for long or short term rental. There are 2 rooms on the ground floor (each of 3m x 4m.) with an open living area of 5m. x 6m. over-looking the garden - there is a shared bathroom. The upstairs offers a bigger bedroom (5m. x 6m.) with connected big bathroom and a (roofed) verandah (3m x6m.) The entire building has wooden floors.

A pantry and cooking area is built separately outside the main building. For long-term rental, re-adjustment could be made to suit the need of the renter.
