This property has just undergone a Complete Remodel. As of June 2007, everything in the home from TOP TO Bottom is brand NEW. Including flooring, cabinets, appliances, furnishings, linens, etc.

The Sandpatch properties are colorful and ideal for a vacation or short-term stay. They are a short walk from famous La Jolla Shores Beach and an enjoyable stroll from great dining and people watching. Sandpatch properties put you in a great environment and location with easy freeway access so if you want to venture out to see San Diego's other attractions you can do so without much hassle. The beautiful village of La Jolla with its shops, markets, galleries and restaurants is far enough away to remove you from any frenzy but close enough to take off a longer walk and enjoy. Once you arrive at Sandpatch you will feel like you are somewhere different and from that moment begin to relax and enjoy yourself.

Enjoy breakfast under a wide market umbrella on your front deck and take in the peek views of La Jolla Cove. Then, after a day out or at the beach retire to the back patio to b-b-q, read and dine alfresco. Outdoor lighting and speakers will enhance the mood. The property is fully fenced and gated offering you privacy and security. You are in a small, private haven once you close the gate behind you. An outdoor hot and cold shower offers a refreshing alternative for cleaning-up after a quick dip in the ocean. This is a great place to take in the good, year-round weather of La Jolla. Open your French doors to pick an orange off the tree and take in the fresh air and warm sunshine.

The living area has beautiful hardwood floors, a wood burning fireplace and plenty of windows make for a striking living area. Relax on the comfortable sofa to read, listen to music or watch cable. Seat eight around your long wood table, ideal for entertaining friends and family.

This home has a modern cook's kitchen with ample counter space, stainless steel appliances and a large side-by-side fridge. You'll find everything you need to cook up a storm and serve your meals attractively. The cooks get to watch the world go by through large windows that open onto the front deck.

This is a two-bedroom beach house with built in closets in each room and French doors that lead to the back patio. One room has a comfortable queen size bed and the other two colorful twin beds. The floors are hardwood and the closet doors made from Plantation Shutters. The rooms are light and airy - perfect for a beach retreat. All of your linen, towels and bedding are provided.

As of June 2007 this home will have EVERYTHING NEW from TOP TO BOTTOM including flooring, cabinets, appliances, furnishings, linens, etc. As soon as we have them, we will be posting pictures of the newly finished property. However, you better book your dates now as our calendar is filling up and this home is going to be gone soon!

Rental Policies

Pets: Pets of any kind are NOT Allowed. No animals of any kind are allowed in house or on surrounding property; this includes "visiting" or "stray" animals. If this rule is broken, Lessee's security deposit will be used to resolve the odor and/or flea problems and for any costs incurred to relocate guests checking in after Lessee's departure. Smoking: Smoking of any kind is not permitted inside the home. Cleaning: Each property will be inspected, sanitized and cleaned after each guests's departure. The cleaning staff will arrive promptly at check out time on the day of departure. Often there are guests arriving the same day and the cleaning staff has only has a short timeframe to clean. The rental fee each guest pays provides for normal cleaning so that every guest can enjoy their vacation up to the last moment. Guests are required to leave the property in the same general condition that it is received. If additional cleaning is required, appropriate charges will be deducted from guest's security deposit.

Reservations: To reserve your dates, a deposit of 50% of the total rent is required. This deposit may be secured by providing a check, money order, Visa or MasterCard. Please note that dates cannot be guaranteed until your deposit is received. The remaining rent, plus tax, any fees and security deposit will be due 15 days prior to your arrival date.

Cancellations: Should either party wish to cancel a reservation, notice of cancellation must be sent via certified mail and received more than 60 days prior to arrival date. If guest's cancellation notice is received more than 60 days in advance of arrival date, we will refund all of the reservation deposit (minus a 10% credit card handling fee is a credit card was used to secure payment). If cancellation notice is received less than 60 days in advance of arrival date and the property is re-rented at the same rate to another party, we will refund all of the reservation deposit except a $300 cancellation fee. If the property is not re-rented, we will retain the entire reservation deposit. It is unlikely, however, if we must cancel your reservation, notice shall be given a minimum of 60 days prior to arrival date and all monies received will be refunded to you within 3 business days of cancellation notice.
