Description of the Property
Our Cozy Cabin on Lower Fish Lake has a wrap-around deck that overlooks a well stocked, quiet no-wake, lake. Lower Fish Lake is 134 acres and Upper Fish Lake is 139 acres; depths are between 16ft and 24ft. Property is .5 acres and is 1/2 wooded, 1/2 lawn. This cabin has knotty pine paneling with hardwood floors, and 2 newly remodeled bathrooms. The 1st floor has 2 bedrooms each with Queen bed and window air conditioner, 2 baths, eat-in kitchen and Lr/dr. The Lr/dr has a fireplace, an air conditioner, TV, VCR, DVD, and stereo and a queen hide-a-bed. The 2nd floor has 2 open rooms with 1 double bed and 1 single bed ea (sleeps 4-6), and 1 window air conditioner. Cabin is ideal for 2 families with kids or 3 couples, or fishing buddies or gals weekend off. Bring your boat and tie it to our private pier or our 14 ft aluminium row boat is tied to our private pier and is available for $100 per week. Boat comes with motor and trolling motor, swival seats and oars and a full tank. Fish Lake is stocked with Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Northern Pike, and Walleye. Renters can borrow 2 sets of golf clubs. Also 6 bikes are supplied; bike to the country store. Wildlife spotted on the property: Blue heron, swans, geese, ducks, hawks, blue jays, wookpecker, robins, deer, racoons, squirels, chipmonks, frogs, toads, turtles, snakes, bats, etc. Come and enjoy an old fashioned vacation.

Rental Rate Notes
*The summer rental week begins Saturday 3PM Central Time and ends Saturday 11AM Central Time. Occasionaly, if available, we offer summer weekends. ----------------------------------------------------- **For the non-summer season we offer weekly, 1/2 week or weekend rental. This cabin sleeps 8 comfortably and the rental rates are based on 8 occupants. The maximum number of overnight occupants is 12. An additional charge of $10 per night per adult will be charged for each overnight occupant in addition to 8.
$300 security/damage deposit will hold your reservation. Your deposit will be refunded to you 15 days after your stay provided the rental provisions are met. The property will be held for 5 business days pending receipt of your deposit payment. All payments must be check or money order. Full rental payment must be received before keys will be given. If you are interested in this cabin, we will gladly send you a copy of our rental contract and rules. We hope you will enjoy your stay at our cabin.

Fall is a great time to come to Fish Lake, Indiana. Avoid the summer crowds and prices are reduced. In early fall, you can still go in the lake if weather is warm. See beautiful changing leaves. Great time to hang out at the firepit, or indoors by the chimney. Do some shopping for antiques in LaPorte, shop the outlet mall in Michigan City, or do some bike riding. Great bike paths are clearly marked. Bring your own bike or we have 6 adult and 3 kids bikes. Be sure to go apple picking or pumpkin picking too. Take a day trip to visit the Dunes, the Amish towns, South Bend, or come see the migrating sandhill cranes at Medaryville.
