Black Butte Ranch Cabin

A rustic cabin on the Big Meadow golf course at Black Butte Ranch, near Sisters, Oregon. Interior paneled in natural cedar planks and furnished with cedar furniture made from reclaimed trees. Open interior layout, with one private bedroom, an upstairs loft with bath accessed by a spiral staircase, and built in bunks in the hallway. Nice deck set back from the golf course and surrounded by old growth Ponderosa pines on a 0.7 acre lot adjacent to National Forest land. Easy biking distance to Big Meadow and Paulina pools and tennis courts. An economical and cozy choice for a family retreat at Black Butte Ranch. Not recommended for families with toddlers because of spiral staircase; older kids love the bunks! New windows, flooring, wood stove and other upgrades for 2009! New cedar-shingle siding in 2010.

All Black Butte Ranch amenities are available to guests. Pools, tennis courts, rec room, bike paths, activities for children, and multisport facility available at no extra cost. Free wireless internet access available in the main lodge and at the Glaze Meadow facility. Two golf courses with spectacular views of the Cascade mountains available for an additional charge. As shown in the picture, the cabin is equipped with a wood stove. This stove is very efficient and should be used only in winter (please check with me before using). There is also a new (2012) electric furnace providing backup heating.

Rental Policies

Nightly rate of $145/night with two night minimum stay. Check in is at 5:00 pm; check out is at 11:00 am (although these times can sometimes be relaxed on a case-by-case basis). Cleaning charge of $85 for each rental. Room rate includes 7% country room tax but does not include fee of $5/person over age 5 charged by Black Butte Ranch to cover use of all Ranch facilities with the exception of golf (i.e. pools, exercise facilities, tennis courts, game room, etc.).

Deposit equal to half of rental charge to be paid within 2 weeks of booking. Remainder due 2 weeks prior to rental date.

Complete refund of deposit for cancellations more than 2 months prior to rental date; 50% refund of deposit for cancellation 2 weeks to 2 months prior to rental date; no refund of deposit for cancellation within 2 weeks of rental date.
