We hope you enjoy your stay at Selva Romantica. The rules of this complex differ from those of a hotel. Because these condos are often owner-owned and occupied, a strict respect for the rules is mandatory. Non-compliance can result in eviction.

General Behavior and Courtesy:
Decent and proper behavior and language is required at all times.
Orderly, peaceful and lawful behavior is required at all times.
At no time can any type of activity disturb others.
Quiet time is to be strictly observed from 10:00 P.M. until 8:00 A.M. throughout the common areas, in individual condos, and in laundry facilities.
Sound equipment volume must not be heard outside of individual condos.
Clothes, towels or other inappropriate items cannot be visible on balconies, in windows or in corridors.
Administration and Security Functions: The Selva Romantica office and security staff is not responsible for providing keys or information, or acting as tour guides. The owner or their rental agency must be contacted for these needs. At the beginning of a stay, check-in with security at the front gate is mandatory. Security guards cannot provide keys to the gates or condos.
To avoid theft of personal property and condo contents, take every reasonable precaution.
To ensure the security of the complex, do not invite strangers into Selva Romantica for any reason.
No obstructions of any kind are allowed in common areas, stairways or walkways.
Dangerous flammable materials are not allowed.
Duplicating or lending keys is strictly prohibited.
Pool and Gym Areas:
Use of the pool and gym is at one's own risk.
Group activities are not allowed.
Proper attire is required - Incontinent persons and infants must wear swim diapers.
Sound systems of any kind shall be heard only by their operators.
No smoking is permitted with the exception of the large palapa and sundeck above the gym and only then with the agreement of others in those areas.
Flotation devices must be of a reasonable size.
Suntan lotions and oils must be removed before entering the pool or gym. No furniture may be reserved. Breakable containers of all kinds are not allowed.
No food or beverage is allowed in the actual pool or gym.
No furniture or footwear is allowed in the actual pool.
Garbage or personal belongings must be removed when leaving the areas.
No equipment or furniture can be removed from the areas.
Pets - No pets are allowed with the exception of service animals.
No animal feeding is permitted.
Garbage - To reduce potential rodent and insect problems, please take trash daily to one of several green containers located at the edges of the property.
The property owner or any of their agents shall NOT be held responsible for any injury, loss, illness or damage to any person or property of persons occupying any rental properties represented by the property owner. The rights, if any, of a person occupying the rental property to seek recourse against the property owner for any injury to the person or property of the person shall be governed by the laws of Mexico and determined exclusively by the courts of Mexico having proper jurisdiction. The property owners shall not under any circumstance be held responsible for any disturbance or inconvenience to guest occupying its rental properties caused by the actions of its neighbors or unforeseen circumstances in the surrounding area, including but not limited to interruption in power service or water supply. Items and décor may change from time to time, such changes will not void or alter the terms of the rental agreement.
Guests traveling out of the United States, Canada or any other country are responsible for obtaining proper documents for traveling in Mexico or to the county in which you are traveling. (Check with your airline/transportation provider for required documents) It is always good to know something about the laws of the county in which you are traveling. Please be advised, the laws in other countries can be much more severe than ours and therefore cause you a lot of inconvenience and possible detentions if not followed.
The number of guests stipulated on the confirmation document is the maximum number of guests allowed to stay at the property. If more people arrive than stated on the confirmation document, they may be denied occupancy or an extra person charge of $50 per person, per night will apply. Tenants occupying the property will be responsible for any damages caused by the individual or their guests, to the property or its contents during their stay. Cost for damage will be limited to repairs or replacement value of the items damaged. Upon check in you will be required to sign a damage deposit form and provide a copy of your credit card. Please find the information for the Damage Deposit Form. This document will be kept on file until the property you stayed in has been assessed and a determination has been made that no damages have been incurred during your stay.
Upon check-in, all clients are required to sign a damage deposit form and provide a copy of their credit card. The Damage Deposit is in the amount of _$500.00_ US dollars. Should any damages occur, your credit card will be charged for the total amount of the damages. Should the damages exceed this amount your credit card will be charged for the difference. NO pets will be allowed in Casa de Dante without written permission prior to arrival. Unlawful activities, including illegal drug use will not be tolerated. Noise curfews affecting nearby properties will be strictly enforced. If these policies are not adhered to, you will be asked to leave the property immediately and no refund will be given.
You will be issued 1 set of keys to the property. If more sets of keys are needed for your stay, please notify us by email. If keys are not returned or lost, the replacement keys will be charged to you and deducted from your Damage Deposit.
50% of total amount due within 5 business days of booking to secure the reservation. Balance due 30 days prior to arrival.
NOTE: In the event your check-in date is less than 30 days from the booking date, full payment is due within five business days to secure the reservation.
In the event of a holiday reservation, which includes Christmas, New Years and American Thanksgiving, final payment is due 60 days prior to arrival.
You will be required to sign a Damage Deposit form upon arrival to your property for $500.00 US$ dollars. Your damage deposit form will remain on file until after your departure and may be used to cover costs of damages, replacement of missing items and cleaning beyond normal expectations or any other expenses incurred by the owner. There will be no exceptions to this policy.

Reservations will be automatically cancelled if funds are not received within five business days of the confirmed reservation. We reserve the right to treat any reservation as cancelable if payment schedules are not met. An extension can be requested for special circumstances.
Once your reservation has been confirmed and your deposit received by us, please be aware that in the event that you are required to cancel your reservation, you must do so 60 days before your arrival. Only 80% will be refunded, the other 20% is an administrative processing fee, which is not refundable. Please be advised that reservations must be cancelled 60 days prior to your arrival otherwise you will forfeit full rental charges. There will be no refunds due to acts of God, nature, weather or weather related situations, mechanical failure, earthquake, golf conditions, airline delays/cancellations, or any other situation out of the control of Casa de Dante. Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.
Rates confirmed within this document are final. Rates are subject to change online and there will be no compensation for posted discounts online nor will you be charged for any increased posted rates after this reservation confirmation is given.
Check in time for all properties is 3 PM and check out time for all properties is Noon. Late check-outs can sometimes be accomodated, please inquire when you book your reservation at Casa de Dante.
