The Peach House is a classy 2 bedroom, 2 bath house right in one of Bozeman's historic neighborhoods. Just a block away is a park that takes up 2 city blocks, and a block in the other direction is a 3 square block open field. It's 5 blocks from downtown and 3 blocks from the weekly Saturday Farmer's Market at the Fairgrounds.
The house measures 1200 square feet, but in addition to that is a large breezeway with a hot tub and space to park bicycles, and a very large, private back deck with flowers, garden beds and fire pit and gas bbq grill. It has off-street parking under a covered roof in the driveway, and more parking along the side street. The outdoor space is landscaped with perennial flower beds and the front yard has huge shade trees in addition to the full size trees along the street.
With hardwood floors throughout the main floor, except for tile in the kitchen, and the extensive remodel work the house is quite exquisite as the pictures show. The house has nice antique furniture, a new flatscreen tv with cable and a home theatre system, and high speed wireless internet.
Kitchen has tile floor, living room has narrow gauge oak which is very rare. Four-person kitchen table with pull out leaves, bar stools for the tall island, nice window shades and all new windows. There is a large solar tube light over the kitchen which provides great amounts of natural light. The house also has a solar powered attic fan to keep the house much cooler in summer.
Other energy efficiency features include an on-demand hot water heater that never runs out, extra insulation all around, hot water heated floors in the kitchen and shower, and full weatherization to keep the house cool in summer and warm in winter. Downstairs there is a large wood stove which heats the entire house for $50 energy bills all through the winter (gas & electric!). There is an efficient gas forced air furnace as well.
