Montana Lake Cabin

This lake front log home is located in Northwest Montana on Angel Island. It is 60 miles east of Sandpoint, Idaho and 30 miles southwest of Libby, Montana. The island is situated on 5 mile-long Bull Lake, with bridge access over a canal.

Wildlife and recreational activities are plentiful and numerous. Take a hike in the Cabinet Mountain wilderness or to the Kootenai River suspension bridge and falls. Fish for perch, bass and fresh water salmon out your front door; bird watchers will delight to see blue heron, woodpeckers, grebes, loons, osprey and a wide variety of other wild birds and waterfowl. Different seasons bring beaver, muskrat, deer and moose.

This beautiful log house sleeps 9 people comfortably on 3 floors with open spiral staircases between loft, main floor and lower level. There are lake views across the front of all three levels with lots of light from the many windows.

The Top Floor: ~ Large Loft overlooking the lake ~ King bed ~ Full bath with over-sized Jacuzzi tub ~ Desk, TV with DVD player

The Main Floor: ~ Fully equipped kitchen ~Laundry room ~ single bedroom with twin bed ~ ¾ Bathroom ~ Open to beams living space with views across Bull Lake ~ opens up to Large log rail deck… take in the views of Northwestern Montana's Big Sky.

The Lower Floor: ~ Family room with Queen sofa sleeper ~ player piano ~ TV/ Vcr/dvd ~ Bedroom with Queen and crib ~ Smaller room with sturdy unique built-in Bunk Beds ~ Opens out to a covered screened in porch that leads to the lake beach front.

All linens and towels are provided. Guests have use of a fire pit and barbecue. There is a floating dock, a stationary dock and access to the public Angel Island boat launch for launching.

The closest grocery store and gas stations are 15 miles away in Troy, MT or 30 miles in Libby, Montana.

On-Site Amenities

You will have lake front access to your private beach on Bull Lake, Montana; just steps away from your deck where you can see the activities at your beach, take in the mountain views or socialize with family or friends; all in the fresh Northwest Montana air.

Activities and Attractions

This peaceful secluded area is nestled on the west side of the Cabinet Mountain Wilderness Area between the Ross Creek Cedars old growth forest and the majestic Kootenai River known for blue ribbon fly fishing and river kayaking. The property is lake front and private. We have spent many weeks never leaving the lake but if you want to take in some area attractions, here are notes about a few.....

Rental Rate Notes

FALL - WINTER - SPRING: Daily and Weekly rates are based on Double Occupancy (2) - Additional guest are $25/night or $75/week. SUMMER: Based on weekly rate for NINE (9) guests - additional guest are $75/week. Weekly Rates discounted 5% for multiple weeks. A Maximum of 12 people

Rental Policies

Check-in after 4 pm ------ Check-out by 11 am

50% deposit required upon placement of reservation. The balance is due 30 days prior to check-in date. There is a $300 damage/cleaning deposit secured with major Credit Card.(NO Charges will show if cabin is left in good clean condition)

REFUND given minus $75 if canceled 30 days before check-in date.
