Waynesville - a cool cedar cottage awaits you In the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains of western North Carolina !! Exceptional views - easy access mountain location - Bowman's Smoky Mountains Cottage is in a private community with magnificent sights of the surrounding Great Smoky Mountains and the town of Waynesville in the valley below ! On the first level you will notice our Vita Spa"Hot Tub" on the deck and then the hardwood oak floors throughout inside ! Then see the master suite with queen sized bed and attached bathroom, shower and vanity area . The 2nd bedroom across the hall has two single beds and the main bathroom, which has a full tub/shower combination and vanity area is next to it . Down the hall is a large living and dining room complete with a queen size sofa bed and TV/ VHS/ DVD with h.b.o., Cinemax (which many of our competitors do not offer), local stations and stereo entertainment center. Our well equipped kitchen is adjacent to the dining room . The deck boasts some of the best mountain views in N.C. Then downstairs is the new addition complete with another media room ,stereo T.V. viewing system and another living room with a new futon sofa bed, kitchen , dining area and bathroom with enclosed shower and vanity. Down the hall is the children's bedroom with a bunk bed , T.V.(which has dvd,vhs and game hookup only) and a playroom . A full utility room with washer and dryer is close by . Nearby to all activities, yet Bowman's Smoky Mountains Cottage in Waynesville is only 10 minutes to town. Check out the Biltmore Estate in nearby Asheville , go golfing at 6 challenging courses, trout fishing, canoeing, white water rafting at Nantahala Gorge, horseback riding at nearby stables, gambling at Harrah's Casino in Cherokee or just stay inside and enjoy our glass viewable wood burning stove ! Terrific restaurants, shopping, antique and craft shops - close to everything ! Also, there is "Free High Speed Internet access at a downtown internet cafe". Our cottage is only 25 miles west of Asheville. Relax away the hours rocking on our deck enjoying our abundant cool breezes. A vacation you will surely want to repeat and repeat !!

Rental Policies

Rates are based on 2 to 6 persons . All rates and fees are subject To N.C. State And County Sales and Occupancy Taxes. Reservations generally 30 days in advance , however special exceptions can be made if openings are available . One week minimum stay preferred ; Saturday to Saturday or exceptions can be made subject to availability; Check in at 2 P.M. on day of arrival , check out at 10 A.M. on departure date . One half of rental fee is due within one week of confirmed reservation with balance due 30 days prior to arrival date . Personal checks are accepted .

To reserve your time frame a 50 percent deposit of the total amount due is required within 7 days of your confirmed reservation .

If plans change , (For One Week Stays Or Less Only) full refunds will be given with 30 days advance notice of your intended arrival date ! Stays Longer than 7 days are subject to a 50 percent forfeiture of the deposit !
