Tropical grounds and ocean breezes await your arrival! Fern grottos, waterfalls, fountains, koi ponds, wooden bridges and strolling paths make North Coast Village a peaceful retreat. Add heated pools, romatic jacuzzi's, a fully equipped men's and women's gym with two saunas...and we're just getting started. Situated on 17.5 acres of lush tropical grounds just 30 minutes North of San Diego - and central to all the area attractions like Disneyland, San Diego Zoo, Legoland, Wild Animal Park, Marine World, Universal Studios just to name a few! Kids love it here! There are Ping pong tables, billiards, card rooms, library, a putting green - swimming pools, and a large white sandy beach just great for building castles - boogie boarding or learning to surf. We will be happy to give you a link to a surf school with weekly classes in summer - and by prior appt in off season. Learn to surf in just one week!

Stroll down to the seawall at sunset and sip a glass of champagne while you watch the sun slide into the sea...or if you prefer, capture it from the privacy of your own deck. Our Southern exposure E building condo has nightly sunsets during the fall months and our Northern exposure E building condo has nightly sunsets year round. You can watch the surfers from your balcony in either unit.. or walk out to the Jetty of the Oceanside Harbor for some upfront close action photography. Our beach is famous for short board surfing!

For those with physical challenges, we have elevator service, single level living with no steps, and paved or wooden walkways which are wheelchair accessible. Our 1bdrm units are accessible for mildly disabled - or those who use a small wheelchair, but can move about inside without a chair. Our bathroom and tub are not grab bar equipped. Floorplan available by request.

We are VERY excited to announce that we now have 3 North Coast Village condos in Oceanside,California available for short term rental. Our 1 bdrm units are in the E bldge across the hall from each other - they are identical in size and layout. This is our South facing condo depicted on this website. Our new 2bdrm 2bath unit is a cottage unit on the East side of the complex near the main gated entry. Our 2 bdrm is 1100 sq feet and upstairs with skylights and a lovely balcony overlooking a waterfall. Cottage units are in two story buildings with one unit upstairs and the other unit downstairs. There are 8 steps or so.. to get to our front door. Ours is an end unit which means there is only one common wall - plus the condo below us of course. Extended family? Wedding Party? Two or more groups traveling together?? We can handle up to 8 persons when booking both of our one bedroom condos simultaneously, or up to 14 persons when booking all 3 of our units. The views we have are completely different: A North beach and harbor view in one unit and a South/West beach and pool view in the other - a garden and waterfall view in our 2bdrm.

With 3 units at North Coast Village - we simply cannot keep up with a calendar that changes nearly every day.. But, we promise to contact you within 24 hours of your initial inquiry- So please do send a request - by email and by phone, and we'll do our best to take care of your vacation residency needs. When leaving phone messages speak slowly and clearly - we lose a lot of calls from cell phone interruption. If we are not available in one of our units - we will be happy to refer you to other owners who may be able to assist you.

Each of our condos are tastefully appointed with everything you need to be comfortable, and right at home. We have at least 20 reviews on this website from our guests and hundreds more in our guest books and files. All of our furnishings are in excellent condition - and we pride ourselves on having the most incredibly well equipped rental unit you may ever enjoy. In the unit pictured here, we offer a King size bed in the Master Bdrm and a Queen sized Sofa Bed in the Living Room. In our other 1 bdrm not pictured here, we have a Queen bed in the bedroom, and a twin sized hideabed plus a standard couch in the Living Room. Our 1 bdrm units sleep 4. The Cottage has a King in the master, a Queen in the guest bedrom a double futon in the Living room sleeping 6 total. In addition, all of our units have 2 twin sized Costco style futons, and a portable crib to provide flexible sleeping arrangments - You can place these portable beds wherever you wish to make the most flexible sleeping arrangments possible. Flexible sleeping does not mean we permit our units to be occupied by more people than is permitted by the Home Owner's Association. All of our units have electronic amenities including not less than two color tv's, front AV jacks for nintendo games, 2 vcr's, stereo/Cd/Tape player plus approx 50 movie titles in each condos own Vhs tape library. All of our units now have a new combination VCR/DVD player. For those who must work, all of our units are now mini office equipped...this is defined as a computer desk with a fax machine and hp printer. There is software on site .. or it can be downloaded. Each unit is set up next to a telephone line outlet with a telephone cord, but, you will need to bring your own computer and a local ISP dialup access number.

Our kitchens are fully equipped and should you feel up to it, capable of preparing a full Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings. All rentals include linens, towels, and bedding. Beach chairs, mats, cooler, umbrella, beach towels, volleyball and ping pong paddles are also provided. We usually have one or two boogie boards avail for your use as well. Each unit has a plastic tub filled with sand toys for toddlers of any age to enjoy.

We're a traveling family with over 30 years seniority at a major US airline. We believe we have a pretty good grip on what makes a great vacation condo, and we have been doing this short term business since 1989. Please be sure to read the 'review' section on this website. We encourage our guests to add their own comments so that others will know what to expect. Throughout the year, we have special event weeks which may include tickets to special events, concerts, ball games, theatre or the arts. Don't forget to watch for 'puka' specials- generally a 2-5 day filler. If our calendar shows a 2-5 day vacancy and no PUKA is offered.. don't hesitate to ask us to create one just for your family. Note that the DelMar fair begins on June 15th this year. The Race season (horses) begins in Late summer. DelMar is just 15 minutes away from our condo.

Our rates have now been simplified. We have 4 daily rates year round reflecting high, mid or low season NON HOLIDAY. The rates posted here are for our 1 bdrm condos. Please be sure to add 10% city bed tax, $20 registration and $80-$90 cleaning to come to a final total for your vacation. Holiday daily rates are higher than the rates posted for each season. Please email for a quote on the holiday week you desire. If we accept a booking for less than 5 nights in the summer .. it will be at a slightly higher rate per night than the weekly rate posted. Check in at or after 3pm .. Check out by 10am - now year round requirement.

We are pleased to be able to accept Visa or MC (domestic US only) payments via PayPal with a 3-4% surcharge which is usually great for international customers who would be forced to use an international wire transfer. Please inquire if you would like us to give you a link to this new web based service. Our preferred method of payment is personal check (60 days or more away) or, cashier's check, or electronic funds transfer.

There are always lots of questions...and we are happy to answer them all. With 4 (total) beachfront units to choose from - your chances of finding what you want are pretty good! Our wonderful gated resort style complex is located at the edge of the bustling Oceanside Harbor. There are kayak, paddle boats, skiffs, rowboats all for rental along with boat excursions, sunset sailing and large motor or sail boats for rent or hire. Take a special catamaran 3 hour sail with just 6 guests on board - discount coupons avail with your reservation at our condo ... just ask for a bajasail referral coupon.

On site we offer a very well equipped gym - putting green, two pools - two jacuzzi's, 3 ping pong centers a clubhouse with billiards - and weekly yoga classes too.

We are located within 45 minutes of world famous Disneyland, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park and Legoland. Just 35 minutes to the Mexican Border. San Diego beckons with its theatres, Gas Lamp District, shopping and dining. Carlsbad Factory Stores for the serious shoppers out there. Del Mar Race Track with racing season beginning on August 26 and continuing for 43 action packed days. Track is closed on Tuesdays. Ride Hunter/Jumper or train with world class equestrians at a number of high end equestrian centers all within a short drive.

Rental Rate Notes

10% tax $21 registration and $105.00 cleaning required on all rentals under 30 days. No tax is required for 30 day rentals or longer. $500 damage deposit for short term rentals - $1000 for long term rentals. Deposit is fully refundable 21 days after departure. No smoking - no pets .. no early check ins or late check outs during summer months. Check in 3pm check out 10am. Personal checks accepted from US banks for payments made 60 days in advance of reservation. Credit cards accepted include: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover with no added fee. Children are welcome .. but occupancy limit includes all occupants .. even infants. 4 person maximum enforced by HOA rules. During summer we are a Sat to Sat 7 night minimum rental period. During off season we will rent for no less than 3 nights. Holidays and Spring break are generally 7 night rentals -

Rental Policies

7 nights minimum rental during peak season and holidays. 3-5 night minimum during low-mid season holiday weeks (Federal and Spring Break) generally $100 per week higher Non Smoking only and no pets - Strictly enforced! 4 person Maximum per HOA rules and regulations inc infants Check in after 3pm and check out is prior to 10am. Tax is 10% Cleaning is $105 Registration with HOA is $21 Monthly rentals any month - except June, July or August. The longer the rental period -the lower the nightly cost. Monthly rentals are tax free.

A fully refundable $500.00 damage and security deposit is required of all first time renters. This deposit is held for 14 days past checkout - against any fines, cable fees, telephone charges, damage, missing inventory or unreturned keys/parking passes - and then promptly refunded with our thanks for taking good care of the property - and for returning all keys and tags on the morning of your checkout.

An advance of $250 is required for all reservations which are in excess of 60 days from arrival. Full payment is due 60 days prior to arrival - inclusive of tax, cleaning and damage deposits. ALL Reservations may be cancelled at any time - however prior to 60 days from arrival the $250 advance is subject to forfeiture if the condo is unable to be rebooked... and less than 60 days from arrival, all rents paid are subject to forfeiture if the condo is unable to be rebooked. Please cancel as far into the future as you can - to have the greatest chance of a full refund of prepaid rents/ or deposits. Renter's insurance is recommended if there is any concern of your inability to complete your reservation.
